I mildly disagree with this. There is certainly enough talent on this roster to be competitive. I agree with this. There is no reason this roster should be getting shut out 2-3 games in a row or scoring only 14 goals in the last 9 games (7 came in 2 games against NJ). I’d say this is the most talent on paper since 2009 maybe. That they are THIS bad is absolutely ridiculous.

Idk, I’d speculate that the .880 improves with a team thats actually more focused on offense. More possession time and time in the o-zone probably leads to teams like the Flyers not taking almost 40 shots a game. 40 shots a game on a goalie with an .880 is what, 3.5 goals a game? Whittle that down to 25 shots a game, and that’s probably 2.2 goals a game. Improve the offense enough to score at least 3 goals a game, and there ya go. Keep scoring 0 goals a game, and the Sabres aren’t going to win even with the best tendies of all time.

JJ hasn’t played a professional game in like a year. Noronen wasn’t very good, and it showed. If any goalie got hosed by the Sabres, it was Enroth.

I disagree. The Gods were mad far before that. See: McKee injury and Brett Hull illegal goal. If you REALLY wanted to speculate, I think it’s something the Bills did to anger the football Gods, that those Gods passed over to the hockey Gods. Obviously, Tampa Bay of all cities has some good JuJu with the sports Gods somehow.

The problem is that Terry has sort of said he’s scared of the big names on the market. I think he’s scared of their power.

Comparing Ryan Miller to JJ is your first mistake.

Sorry, but that was his shot. He won one game and lost 5 and was sub .900. A lot of goalies don’t even get that opportunity. Maybe he gets another shot soon with what’s going on. I’m not high on him.
