This actually makes me feel a little better. I always felt like the Pens under-performed under Bylsma. Crosby and Malkin together in their prime are surely worth more than just a single cup. But Bylsma had Fleury and Shero making his job a lot harder than it had to be.

I don't think they made it out of the 2nd round since they won their last cup, Byslma's first year.

Wow. That went off the rails really fast. Why do you think it's okay to look down on people that don't have a lot of money? Why are you viewing this issue from the point of view of a massive business instead of an average hockey fan? $30 isn't pocket change. And lots of hockey fans are missing out because of it. So because TP has done some good, nobody should have new opinions about separate issues? Like, say, charging 30 dollars for an event that every other NHL franchise gives away for free?

I wasn't planning on going to the draft either way, but charging fans to watch old guys sit at a table? Why is that ever okay? No other teams do it, or if they do, they charge a buck twenty-five. Sabres fans are die hard and super loyal so how does our loyalty get rewarded? It doesn't, the Sabres' higher ups try to use that die hard hockey fandom to squeeze some extra profit out of the draft. Trying to make this about "entitlement" is a joke.

Uggghhh. What a bad episode. What happened the Northron culture? Apparently nobody thinks kinslaying is taboo, and the LC of the Night's Watch is allowed to name his successor. I like to think that the Umbers killed some other big wolf and this is a ruse. Dany's scene was boring and accomplished nothing. Sam and Gilly didn't really accomplish much. Gilly is a delight to see, though. Love that actress. The Tower of Joy scene was so lackluster. It didn't feel hyper important, and Bran is still whining about the same stuff. I don't think I've been so offended by an episode since the whole Sansa ordeal.

It's really dumb. Charging for the draft? Go f yourselves, Sabres and NHL.

I like fans of other teams telling us our tank was obnoxious, like it was more annoying to them than it was for us.

I finally broke down and bought myself a pair of rollerskates. Went to a paved trail at a park to get some laps in and an old couple struck up a conversation with me in the most effective way possible. "Jack Eichel, isn't he amazing?" (I was wearing an Eichel t-shirt) We sat and chatted for 20 minutes about the playoffs and such. Then when I got home I set up the net in my driveway and did some shooting. Street hockey is hard. I fell over several times when my ice skating instincts took over.

Oh man, Stafford almost outscored Vanek that year. Then proceeded to do absolutely nothing in the playoffs.

And it's Blizzard so you know the game got playtested into oblivion and is more polished than most games are after a few rounds of updates and bugfixes. I don't trust Blizzard.

Except for when Boyle was allowed to annihilate Hickey with a late, high hit right before he scored the OT winner in the last game. NYI vs. TBL has been my favorite series this round (I've basically missed all of NSH vs. SJ and WSH vs. PIT).

Played overwatch a bit last night. I really like learning online FPSes. I don't think the game is good enough to hang onto me, though. It has about 1/16th the charm of TF2, and I didn't realize how absolutely correct I was about it being a knockoff. The scout class where you can blink forward is my favorite. I don't care if I get lots of kills, as long as I'm fast and can escape danger I'm happy.

Can't move myself from bed to watch it. Tell me what's happening. Is O'Reilly hot? Is he looking hot? Like, really hot?
