Effin new guy? That's always been my understanding.

It would take a ton of money and the marketplace would have to dictate it. It sounds like they're trying to ease fans into the idea. How could the marketplace dictate that the NHL put ads on their jerseys? That doesn't make sense.

Rick and Morty is awesome.

Bailey plus moving up 2 spots is barely more valuable than a 38.

I read that Roy wants tough, stay at home defenders. Zemgus + Gorges + 38? Would he be dumb enough to do that?

I don't think Stamkos, Lindholm, and Skinner are enough to be a good top 6. Who are their other forwards? -

Totally off the top of my head: the Sabres or the Blues. -
9.5? I'd do anything 10 or under, I think.

I think the Warriors jerseys are pretty. And Curry is really fun to watch.

Not a good final 2 minutes for the Sharks. They were still dumping it in with the two man advantage. Ugh, so stupid.
-
Bonino to put the pens up with 2:33 to go. Sharks on the PP with 2:09 to go.

Backhand wraparounds are cool.

Stupid Crosby and his dumb bad facial hair.

The Shark's third line seems to be the only one that can gain the zone so far.

To be fair, just because Liger said it more than once doesn't mean that it was a widely held opinion. I think Zemgus is good enough to be a consistent middle 6 player, switching between the 2nd and 3rd lines and being able to ride shotgun on the 1st if need be. -
I think the two teams that are the worst to be a fan of are the Canucks and, much worse, the Avs. Watching your team trade awesome talent after awesome talent and watching MacKinnon's prime wither away in front of you before it even starts is so brutal. My girlfriend is Croatia right now and she met a Vancouver native in a bar. She asked about his NHL team and he said the Canucks. She mentioned that many people in her area are fans of the Sabres. The Canuck fan shook his head and sadly said "oh man, Jack Eichel." My girlfriend threw her hands in the air and responded "JACK EICHEL!!!" Heh heh heh

Oh man that sandwich is epic.

I agree wholeheartedly that Eichel is a pass first player. It just seems to be the way he sees the game, despite the fact that he has the skill set to be a sniper as well. -

Yeah, I have a hard time keeping focused on whether or not I'm referring to Eichel's current skills or how good I expect him to be. How good I expect him to be: A faster, better Tavares. -

I agree. Eichel's never going to shoot as much as Ovechkin and Stamkos, even if his shot is just as good (and I'm not totally sure it is). -
Finally watched episode 5. The Hodor stuff was neat. I think they were tryna do some sort of parallel between the COTF and Bran. Bran effed over Hodor's entire life to save himself and Mira, and the COTF effed over the entire world to save themselves from the men. That didn't really mean a whole lot to me because the cotf lady was like IT'S YOUR FAULT BRAN YOU JERK. Like, the COTF are supposed to be wise, why are they still in denile about creating the white walkers being a net negative in the long run? This could've been an interesting point if we had any context for what they and bloodraven are doing. Speaking of which, why is Bloodraven even in the show? We didn't learn anything about the man he was, and we didn't learn much of anything about Bran's journey from him. They got a legendary actor, gave him some vague lines, and killed him. Summer's death was also really lame, and got much less screen time than random COTF doing the grenade into a group of zombies scene that I've seen in at least 3 movies before. All the Sansa stuff was cool. Except Petyr was super lame. That's all he has to say? Wow. Melisandre apparently has no input. Tormund Brienne continues to be adorable. Arya's storyline is still about her getting hit in the face. Yawn. The Kingsmoot was bad. Yara is a joke. The scene was more about Theon than her. I liked the spin they gave show euron, that he was paying the iron price for the throne. That's the kinda that iron born would eat up. But as soon as Theon and Yara made him look like a moron by taking his ships, someone would've killed him with a rock. Also, like 7 ironborn were at the kingsmoot? Yikes. All of Euron's dialogue in his introduction scene would've made a lot more sense in the kingsmoot. Hodor :( I still think Hodor is the name of the great other. My biggest problem with every single episode this season: WHERE IS THE COLOR? TV shows should be fun to look at. Even dark dank cells can be shot in a compelling way. But every week we get ~40 minutes of people talking in dark rooms with no contrast. Ugh.

The point is that he scored 60 like 2 or 3 seasons ago and is currently still at the very least a 35 goal guy. The kinda guys who are becoming rarer than... something clever that is rare.
