True Romance

This has been the best winter in at least 5 years(Poconos.) 19/20 was below average. 18/19 had one storm. 17/18 had one storm. 16/17 was bad until a 3.5 foot storm buried us in March. There might have been 5" of snow all winter in 15/16, terrible! Worst winter in recent memory. And 14/15 was a banger. More snow on the way tomorrow and early next week. Keep it coming please. Sure. But it all just seems like arbitrary numbers. What if my COVID showed up on the 14th day and I end up being asymptomatic. Now I'm back at work spreading it and no one has any idea. I don't have to get tested if I'm in close contact with a positive person. If I never experience symptoms I can return in 14 days. And even if I choose to get tested, I still can't return for 14 days no matter the outcome.

@Let's Go B-Lo Yup. Same. If I'm in close contact with someone who experiences COVID symptoms, I get knocked out of work untill THEY(not me) can prove that they are negative. If they test positive, I must remain out of work for 14 days. They can go back to work the day that they receive their 2nd negative test (usually about 10 days.)

The 06 playoffs started a week after my 21st birthday. And I was blackout drunk throughout all of it. That was the high point for me, personally. I think I spent $3000 in bars over those 6 weeks. Jesus, that was so much fun.

I finally got hit with a quarantine. My co-worker left work yesterday when he started feeling nauseous and generally crappy. Surveillance did contact tracing for the day and they saw him and I in close proximity for 15 minutes throughout the day (2 minutes here, 3 minutes there.) So now I'm out of work until his test results come in. If he's negative I can go right back. If he's positive I have to quarantine for 14 days then show a negative test before I can return. Fun!

Why stop? We're all still going to watch. As a matter of fact, now we're going to watch AND complain about it. That's like, double the engagement.
