    Agree about the Hound....he still has to face-off against the Mountain at some point. I also think one of Theon or Sansa dies soon...my guess would be Theon protecting Bran. Grey Worm, Ser Brienne and Giantsbane I can also see not making it out of the next episode.

    I'm In.....never watched GOT until earlier this year....got caught up with 1 week to spare before season 8 started....it was BRUTAL waiting a week without a new episode.

    I don't know enough about outside coaches to have any informed opinion on the matter.... BUT The only criteria I care about is hire someone who has ZERO ties to this organization. I don't want Bob Boughner, Chris Taylor, Mike Wilson, Darcy Reiger, Lindy Ruff, John Rigas, or Sabretooth behind that bench. Judging by the photo of that swedish guy with the beard, he'd be my first choice.

    This is why Tage and Casey should have been sent down way earlier. although if they were sent down would Rochester have been too crowded, stunting other players development?

    Are you trying to say our 8th picks are cursed? I'll be shocked if Olaffsson doesn't make the roster out of camp next season. He's going to be good for 20 goals on the PP next year.

    I've reached peak apathy. From a draft standpoint I want them to lose but it really doesn't matter. I hope those who attend are entertained.

    When this thread was created I remember thinking there was no way they could be worse than 7th place....but it's been an absolute spiral of misery since then. This "streak" would get any other coach fired.

    I still think if we're picking in the top 3 we trade that pick as a package to bring in a legit 2C and hopefully still have a lower 1st round pick, keeping us with 2 first round picks.

    With two games left vs. OTT & DET in the season the Sabres are sitting in 4th last place. 2 points behind DET - they play PIT & BUF 2 points ahead of NJ (who would have the ROW tie breaker) - they play CAR & FLA 3 points ahead of LA (who would also have the ROW tie breaker) - they play ANA & VGK Amazingly, the Sabres can feasibly finish 2nd last behind Ottowa if we lose out and NJ wins 1 or loses both games in OT and LA gets 3 out of 4 remaining points, which is doubtful. The Buffalo game vs OTT on Thursday will be interesting to keep an eye on.

    Probably not for the term/$$$ someone will pay him as an UFA but it were a straight up swap for anyone of our "bottom-6" players, yes.

    Congrats, with the red wings comeback over Detroit the sabres are now 4th last in the league. Nashville, Ottowa and Detroit left.
