Seriously, their bracket launch is a complete failure. If I knew we weren't dealing with the dinosaur practices of the NHL I'd say it's mind-boggling just how horrible they rolled this out. Rather, it's par for the course. This is why I don't give this joke of an organization any money. On an unrelated note my fantasy coaches bracket has Sutter going to Buffalo.

I think the real solution is to trade Sam for wingers to complement E.Rod on the 3rd line.

Expanding on that, our supposed #1 line, when healthy, has been Okposo, ROR, and some 4th liner anchoring it down (Bailey, Carrier, etc). How about Okposo, Eichel - ROR? and then fill out the other lines with Sam at 2C? I think our biggest problem this year is our "#1" line was never an actual threat. I blame that on Bylsma.

Put ROR on Jacks. Put Reinhart as the 2C. Don't trade either.

I'm not so sure about that. Breaking into a new decade really creates a temporal barrier for me which makes it feel like an eternity away. I still feel like it's 2015 for some reason.

My first impression was "this could be a trade that really benefits both teams" but I didn't realize RNH is making 6 mil a year into the roaring 20's. I do believe that if BOGO was moved there he would do really well there, however, I can't say the same for RNH in Buffalo, he'd just be another terrible unmovable contract weighing us down. Sink 6 million a year through 20-21 into a winger whose trending downwards so we can get rid of a 5.142 million a year D man through 19-20 whose also trending downwards but would probably look great on a different team? No thank you.

It's statistically impossible for Buffalo to win the lottery due to cosmic reasons of a higher, crueler nature. This is not a nightmare. This is real life and you will never wake up.
