I was just thinking "surely this has to be his last year" and looked and see he's being paid $4 million to play next season. Can't argue he wasn't elite once upon a time but man has he slowed down. -

Most of me really hates to see a player injured but a small part of me likes it when it's a Bruins player. I'll never un-salt from the Lucic on Miller hit. Hope Backes is ok but You, Boston. -

Good save by Lehner but a sloppy, sloppy power play. -

ALRIGHT LET'S DO THIS! SAAABRES! -
I'll be watching tonight. Hopefully Eichel has some fire as he sounded pretty p-o'd after the game last night. I'd like to see Nilsson have a strong game tonight, or at least make some saves in a shootout. I'd like to see a first period where we don't give up any goals, or at least we score the first goal. It's a tall order but I think the boys will be up to it. On a personal note, I'm disappointed that the one time this year the Sabres are playing in my neighborhood I'm back home in Buffalo. Maybe next year, Barclays.

I suppose I was speaking in hyperbole. I'm in my early 30's and a lifetime of Buffalo Sports disappointment has allowed me to keep my emotions in check. I assure you Christmas is alive and well in the mustacheofgod household. -

This will be the only home game I attend this year. All I really want for Christmas is a Sabres win and please god no shootout loss. I also want to see Jack play mad and have a doozy of a game. I'm also taking my wife, who has never been to a game in Buffalo. I have a parking pass for the garage that says it's worth $20. If anyone wants it PM me and it looks like I can email it through the Sabres ticket app service thingy. GO SABRES! -
Foligno is at least an upgrade over Carrier on that line. I haven't had the luxury of being able to watch most of the games this year (mostly listen on the WGR app) so I can't speak to Carrier's "jam", but he has 2 points in 20 games this year...how many of those have been on the top line? If you're playing top line minutes you should be putting up something on the score sheet. In an ideal situation Ennis should be slotted in there but who knows if he'll ever return to form?

Carrier bumped to the 1st line with ROR & Okposo. Moulson dropped to the 4th with Grant and Girgs. Our first two lines are going to be overflowing with energy tonight. Love it.- 775 replies

This is the first game this season that I'm legitimately excited to watch. Here's to hoping this team can consistently score more than 1 goal a night now that Jack's back in the lineup. My not-so-bold prediction for tonight is that Jack has an assist. Is it 7:30 yet?- 775 replies

You buy the biggest bird you can get. I live and die for the post-thanksgiving Turkey sandwiches. I like having that Friday off because I can bake fresh bread. Moderately thick sliced left over turkey breast, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo on fresh oven warmed bread? There should also be a tangy element involved, cranberry sauce is acceptable. This year mine will involve the Cento Hot-Pepper Hoagie Spread , a real game changer for me. You can also, of course, opt for the more seasonally appropriate "Thanksgiving sandwich, a sloppy piling of left-overs of the entire feast, all warmed up between the bread, which I consider good but not as great as the classic turkey. I will, of course, eat no less than 7 sandwiches (of all varieties) over the course of the weekend. I love Thanksgiving, it's my favorite holiday. It's reliable, always falling on a Thursday and Friday is a gimme day as well. You don't get that with many other holidays (xmas-eve,xmas,NYE & NYs are all on Sat/Sun this year, what is that?). There's virtually no obligations other than showing up and stuffing yourself and passing out in a recliner, half drank glass of wine in one hand while the lions rack up another loss. No gifts, no cards, no month-long ramp up complete with songs, decorations, and all that other that December brings. You also get left-over sandwiches.
