The view I prefer to take... especially when we began emerging from the dark ages on this board and with this team. I've contemplated changing it again but I don't think we're there yet (on this board, or on this team.)

It's actually an interesting topic and the rules have been altered in both directions that have really messed around how she can compete. http://deadspin.com/the-debate-about-caster-semenya-isnt-about-fairness-1785355953 There's some serious debate going on. This article discusses some of the testosterone measurements, etc. I was listening to something on NPR that discussed real scientific studies on how they can effectively (and non-intrusively) determine these things so that athletes could be put into a proper competition bracket. The situations are rare but there's little doubt that because of her genetics and development she has advantages. I can't imagine her life dealing with all of this.

And it's good too.. but then Lost Abbey knows how to make great beer. The Gose style has provided many interesting names.

Well, one potential theory to make this up is to cover your butt about something else that you were doing that you should not have been doing? But in the realm of things I care about...

Hopefully only 1 member now. ;) -
I guess he's signing with Providence then?

So you blame the player for the hype? What kind of nonsense is that? How is the player responsible for the hype people generate about him? Hate the fans...

Most players aren't picking the perfect spot when the score. They know where the net is and they have an understanding of where the shot should get to barring interference. The impressive part of the goal is not that it goes in it's that he has the creativity and the mental prowess to choose that move at that moment with an understanding that it will generate a quality shot on net. How do you hate on that goal? I presume all the no-look passes in the NHL also disgust you? Confused.

You must really hate La Villa Strangiato then. No redeeming qualities for you. Wait.. do we hate Rush or Boston? I'm so confused. "TO" Rush. Jimmy Vesey Hates To Rush. :)

But if you want an out.. you can always claim you don't support big beer. http://atlanta.eater.com/2016/7/20/12241134/terrapin-beer-co-bought-millercoors-tenth-blake

I believe his last request was to have you banned from SabreSpace but the mods declined the Sabres request. Jimmy signing with Chicago is contingent on the NHL moving them into the Eastern Conference. Everyone knows that. That's not news. More interestingly is to see what other moves might be held up waiting to see how this ends up.

Most of the analysis said that he is running the same speed at the end of the race as he is at 30m. The other runners all begin to slow down. I'm sure being 6'5 helps in that regard. He's still an insanely gifted athlete. Good idea. The marketers have wanted more people to feel this way so they could start the Jr. Olympics. :)

Hell.. that might be the MOST fun! Let's not talk more about Solo. She's a joke, a disgrace, and should be unremembered. She's gained fame because of the women who play in front of her. And Ledecky...just.. wow.

And once again reading SabreSpace while eating lunch proves to be a bad idea... I am now cleaning up a few food bits that may have just sprayed everywhere.

Not that I care too much about this whole thing.. but I find this interesting: http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/nhl-news-rumours-veseys-list-wisniewski-signs-pto/ And the quote from his agent. So, when the agent says that he hopes the Bruins will contact them... isn't that frowned upon?

I think Moulson was a little of that and there was a perception that he could put up points. The problem was that he didn't adapt well. This season will be the tell-tale one for him. Can he put himself in a position on DDB's team to be productive or will be trade/buyout candidate? But yes, he wanted to be here. He was going to be sought after that off-season. He had ties to others and was a stabilizing presence.

Yea, Gose is not for everyone. I am not a huge fan of most of the ones I have had. The beer industry is a cliche industry. Look at the sheer amount of Tangerine IPAs now. First it was grapefruit, then it just kept going from there. Pineapple, Tangerine, etc. Grisette is another one that is coming around everywhere, along with Radlers. Basically you have brewers looking for niche styles from all over the world to try and find the next marketing aspect to move product. People are crazy for craft beer but they aren't really as discerning as they should be. So many brewers, especially larger ones, can turn out pure crap for a product and people still buy it. This won't last but for as long as it does it will continue to happen.

Good stuff.. I think the following is super relevant when we love to question why certain moves are made.

Well, like it or not.. Gose has been growing in popularity. Mostly due to its lower ABV and lighter body.. then you add in the additions that brewers are doing to it now and you end up with all kinds of wackiness. It's certainly not for everyone. I don't mind most of them. Radler.. now there's a style I don't care for. Lots of sour... so many good ones but it really depends on how much you want to pucker. :)

We're just not yet to the day and age where you can stream everything without having to pay for an account with a cable or satellite provider. Some day. Because I have TWC I am able to stream a ton of events on the NBC app on the Xbox or at a PC. It's working well. But I know for those who are cord cutters you are on the outside not looking in. Some day... perhaps in 2020. :)

Judging by the number of top draft picks this year that are USA hockey players... things are indeed going well. I was talking to someone from Dallas the other night who said there are rinks all over the place now and that hockey has been gaining in popularity quite significantly.

Wow... the world changed overnight... I've been out of communication since July 21. I'm catching up on things.. is my ticket still available? I saw that I got a PM.. still have not even looked at that. What date/game was decided upon? -
Good to know, I'll factor your buying preferences into my business plan. Radler is a tough style. Lots of breweries hopped on the bandwagon, especially PA breweries. I'm not a huge fan of the style.. it is way too light. Had Bear Republic Azacca Rebellion last night, quite good. Best showcase of Azacca I've had yet. Founders Azacca didn't have enough hop aroma.

Foreign Extra Stout... a style born to Jamaica and the heat. One of my faves!
