The weather in Denver is actually pretty good all year round except for frequent hail storms coming down the size of golfballs, 18 inches of heavy snow one day after it being 85 degrees in May, flash flooding, and massive forest/brush fires near major housing areas. But other than those things, it's awesome.

Morgan Geekie…3rd line winger with upside, some size, and could play on the 2nd or 4th lines as needed. Only 24 years old, has playoff experience.

I see that Morgan Geekie didn't get qualified by Seattle. He's 24 and I think has more upside than Jost. His even strength scoring numbers per 60 minutes were quite strong and I thought he was pretty good in the playoffs. Could be a 3rd line fill-in until Quinn is back and bumps Casey back to the 3rd line.

Except Pesce is a legit Top 4 guy on a playoff team but Gudas is a solid bottom pairing guy. Need to get a partner for Power. Also, Gudas is a real cheap POS in my opinion. But if we got Pesce AND Gudas, I guess I'd be good with that as he'd be OUR bottom pairing, cheap POS. (Assuming Joki goes back to Carolina in that trade)

Yeah, and that Bills vs. Commanders and Sabres/Caps pre-season weekend too. I just can't count the pre-season games, even though it's technically correct. I mean, would you roadtrip for a pre-season game? Not me.

I would love to see this. Creates a solid and young 1-2 with Levi (let them compete to be #1) and degrades the B’s. Trade VO and UPL for picks to replenish the lost picks with the offer sheet (At least somewhat), sign Graves or Mayfield, and we’re set for this season.

For the most part I don't think the forward group was the problem with this team last year. Keep Jost, Trade VO, and add Rousek to the roster and I'm good. There is something to be said for consistency with teammates and systems that leads to improvement year over year. Now if KA runs it back with the same D and G situation, we'll have a problem. But at least for Defense I don't see that happening.

I really enjoyed the ECHL Jackals as the quality of play was relatively high, with players still aspiring to the NHL. Whereas things really fell off when it was the Enforcers in whatever league that was. I so badly wanted to buy a jersey but they were too ugly with the bright green to even have as a curiosity. At one point there was the owner who put in the nice video scoreboard, and there was a fan/community group who tried steering the ship, but neither was enough to make it. To your point unless they get a competent and rich owner I think it fails after a couple of years max. Hope I am wrong though, would be great for the area. I moved to Denver last year so now I go to Avs games 🙂

Perfect arena for ECHL in Elmira. I was an Elmira Jackel's fan back when they were in the ECHL. On the other hand, probably too small a market to support it.
