  1. On the one hand, I did sell three companion seats in the same row for $30 each, on the other hand the game is upon us so I dropped them to $15 just now. (The lowest the Sabres will allow is $5) But still free to The Aud Club posters!
  2. Actually, I want to talk about Östlund j/k
  3. I have two tickets for tonights game up for sale on Ticketmaster for $25 each. Unless they happen to sell by the time I connect with someone, I'd be happy to transfer them to whoever contacts me first. You'll need the Ticketmaster app and I guess I use your mobile phone number or email to make the transfer. PM me if you want them. edit: they are in the lower bowl, sort of in the corner. Section 113 row 21 edit #2 - what I mean is they are free to anyone on here who can use them
  4. I think the formula for Sunday is hold Miami to 34, Bills score 35.
  5. https://www.paramountpressexpress.com/cbs-sports/talent/?view=melanie-collins#:~:text=Melanie Collins joined CBS Sports, basketball on CBS Sports Network. Pretty sure it’s Melanie Collins. She’s a stone cold fox.
  6. I’m interested if there is still an opening.
  7. I know you know this but it's worth saying that Clifton won't see any PP time, dropping this to 20 minutes per game, which I would think is an expectation for him this year. Nonetheless Clifton with Dahlin as a regular pairing would surprise me too.
  8. I saw Iron Maiden in the Aud in maybe ‘85. The opening act was supposed to be Twisted Sister, but due to a death in the family they cancelled. Talas must have been notified that day and they jumped in and opened up instead.
  9. As a fan of giraffes, that is horrifying.
  10. Ani DiFranco, Rick James, and 10,000 Maniacs (sort of, from Jamestown)
  11. Talas Edited to correct spelling. Not sure if I got Talus from the bone in the foot or my company’s customer in Taiwan but either way it was probably 20 years since I though about Talas so I’ll forgive myself that one.
  12. Östlund traded? Or just doesn't challenge for a spot in this timeframe?
  13. Nicolas Savoie? That would be the real sleeper pick.
  14. This is great. Just checked out their website for other videos. The dude who plays guitar (and also piano? Same guy?) seems super talented. The best Beatles cover band I ever saw was called the Silver Beats. Four Japanese guys. They were the house band for a Beatles bar called The Cavern Club in Roppongi in Tokyo. Sadly the bar has long since closed and I am unaware they still play together.
  15. I’m willing to bet that Diggs and Allen and the Bills in general are not on the list of top 100 things Dahlin gives a rats ass about in terms of his next contract. I can’t comprehend how you’re combining these things into one narrative.
  16. Came here to say the exact same thing! Thank you @dudacek!
  17. Looks like a scene from a comic book!
  18. Not my genre but I applaud the creative process at work here...excellent!
  19. He had 68 points in 70 games in Rochester during the regular season. Given how relatively slowly he started, by the back half of that season he was one of the higher scorers in the AHL. Then had 12 points in 10 playoff games. That said, I think your expectation for him is reasonable but I’d call it his floor. 60-70 points is also possible.
  20. I think they tried that quick food place "The Healthy Scratch" for a while that was in Harbor Center. Terrible name for a place associated with food. I went in there once and looked at the menu and walked out. Looked terrible and it didn't last too long. I am not aware of any others.
  21. No way to know of course, but my gut says this is the core of it. They had grand ambitions. All the peripheral stuff beyond the Sabres and Bills were also going to be key components of the family business empire. It was well intentioned hubris, and certainly within the rights of billionaires to pursue. But reality eventually hits billionaires, too. (1) Making money in music, hotels, food, and fashion is hard. Barriers to entry are low = outsized profits are hard to come by. Outsized profits are what drives enterprise value. Unless lightning struck, these enterprises were always destined to be sidenotes next to the sports entities work north of $600M and $4B. (2) The ambitious, younger of the two owners is no longer the same person due to medical reasons. The remaining functional owner is 72. He needs to take care of his wife, enjoy his family, and focus on the two sports franchises he owns. So why does he need PSE anymore? Now what will happen to the Sabres or Bills is another story entirely and I don't think this announcement leads to anything other than speculation well beyond even my random musings here.
