I've checked the score online 2 or 3 times and I am glad I didn't make plans around watching tonight. Went to EBC and had dinner and then walked through E-ville with a latte; Pet other people's dogs,etc lol. Much better use of a night off than watching the corpse of this once great franchise.

I cahed in some of my points and am flying to El Salvador next Monday. Gap in the schedule so I took advantage to get away from the current hell of the medical landscape at the moment.

This is who the bills are.... We lost to Pitt, Tennessee and now looking like the colts.... All the teams with a winning record. We also lost an inexplicable game against the Jags. Playoffs we should make, but that's not a given and we've lost all the head to head tiebreakers.

This isn't a jump on Dahlin post by any means, but he did some bone headed things today. That cross ice pass on the PP right to the Pens, then the inexplicable slowing down and turning when he had a lane to the net. He simply doesn't have that North/South gear when it comes down to it, he has flashy moves, but is a big East/West player. His D has gotten better overall, but he has yet to put it all together. Based on his age and all the changes, I give him a benefit of the doubt until the end of next season. I really do wonder if this team is at a playoff pace when more healthy.

These guys get Carte Blanche when it comes to tests and treatments, there are some GP's that are also Sports Med docs that work for the team, but they also have very very good surgeons basically on retainer for these guys. I know a handful of them, and they are very good at their jobs. I wonder if it's less misdiagnosis and more PT/physio treatment that is lacking in this process. Hard to say and I don't want to point fingers as injuries can nag past timetables, especially in elite athletes.
