  1. The Wild Mouse never felt so safe.
  2. In before “It’s a development season”. Not really. But I certainly hope the Sabres staff are feeling pressure. I am sure the Bills staff are. McDermott never seemed to accept the idea that winning didn’t need to be a sign post of positive development.
  3. Me neither. Not even from my son and his circle of freinds.
  4. The Bruins and 1st year Vegas are two good data points that complete buy in to a good system is a recipe for success.
  5. Not entirely. I think physical development is also a huge factor. I have no idea where Benson sits in that regard, and I am not inclined to speculate on it. 2, during a freak roadside incident when he had two tires punctured by a piece of scrap lumber fell off a truck.
  6. Comapring Benson to a HOFer doesn’t make sense. It didn’t when we compared Martin St Louis to Gerbe either. More apt, because the talent levels are likely closer, how many Danny Briere’s or Donald Audette’s played a full season at 18?
  7. I am more than happy to pay. But I’ll be damned if I am going to work for it. They can piss off until they get it right. Until then, I’ll do what I am doing. Thanks for the updates, PA. Saving a bunch of us money and energy.
  8. Well that was a fun period. Cozens looking dangerous tonight.
  9. Help us Randall Flagg, you are our only hope.
  10. That first line has some serious size. Would be interesting if Cozens picked up some of Greenway’s heavy game. He could use another dimension in his game.
  11. They aren’t vets in the been there, done that mold. They are vets in the never been there mold. This team should have stocked up on playoff tested vets when Eichel was drafted. They haven’t improved the veteran content enough in the Cozens/Power/Quinn era either. It is reassuring that Johnson is stepping up. Not sure he’s enough. Hopefully Clifton steps up as well.
  12. Brickyard did have a fire, but it is open. I don’t think the south, however you define it, has a monopoly on great barbeque. Most of the places mentioned so far def compete.
  13. The most not Mexican place in Genesee Co. lol
  14. They have em in NY, just not in the big wny bodies of water.
  15. I love me some tequila, but I hope tequila takes off to take some of the pressure off bourbon. 10yrs ago I was buying 1.5l handles of Weller Antique for $19.99 and today it is allocated and going for more than double the price for a 1l bottle. Wtaf
  16. Thats the name of the place!
  17. You just made the list.
  18. Late meetings with China customers. I have been bombarded with them lately. And all of them have been very aggressive. Stressful, tense meetings at 9pm+ really suck. I’ve had enough losing sleep.
  19. I enjoyed it in my younger days, don’t appreciate it much anymore. I think Mighty is best as drunk food, or at least drinking food, and when you get past that it is more about sentiment that actual taste.
  20. I’d have no problem streaming Sabres hockey on a roku without a cable subscription too if I lived out of market. An internet connection and an espn+ subscription and good to go (mostly).
  21. I just wanted to post this gif again Yup
  22. I’d rather Peca return as an experienced head coach with a proven resume than hire our…. Counting on my fingers…. 5th out of the last 6 head coaches to learn on the job as a newb. Ok we are lamenting him going away instead of promoting him as an assistant. Same vibe to me. Lets support Granato with a veteran coach, not a guy learning on the job while Granato learns on the job.
