Do you have a second favorite team? If you have espn+ I'd recommend you watch some Preds games. Given your posting history I think you would enjoy them. Very gritty team. I may be biased though, so take my opinion on them with a grain of salt.

The year to date stats might be similar, but I expected more consistently good weeks building off of last year and have been somewhat disappointed with him. Still a really good QB, was just hoping for more. No. Lamar has had a poor season.

Right. 23 years old, 4.6M cap hit through the 24/25 season. I'd love to get him, but it depends on the ask.

I think unvaccinated players are tested daily and vaccinated players are tested weekly (someone please correct me if I am wrong). The covid outbreak is likely being spread by vaccinated players. In the NHL, where players are 100% vaccinated(minus Bertuzzi), it's a fact.

Who knows. I'm kinda curious how many players, all vaccinated, would never know they had it if they weren't part of a mandatory testing program. More importantly, is that a reflection of society as a whole? How many have/had it and dont/didn't know it. I mean of people who don't have symptoms.

The Preds are an interesting team. They have a few players who don't have NHL talent but are on the team because of the physical element they bring. "Grit" is what defines that team. The whole is greater than the sum thier parts. They have no business winning as much as they do. For me they are an easy team to like, I'm glad I have them here in Nashville.

Anyone have a reasonable suggestion on how the NHL should proceed going forward? I think Hoss posted some time back there was only one player in the entire league that was not vaccinated, but quite a few teams have had games canceled due to covid protocols. How do they finish the year without compromising player safety?

I would give Florida's first and our second 2nd for Chychrun. I'll say it again, I think by Thanksgiving our top pair is Porew-Dahlin. With Chychrun-Mule on the second pair that could possibly be the best top four come 23/24. I think anyone hoping for more than a one year placeholder next year will be disappointed. I don't think KA supplements the roster with quality vets until the new core moves past developing and is ready to compete. I think that's in 23.

6K has allowed two goals in four consecutive games and has played well.
