This team so far has exceeded my expectations.

I think Power works his way up to top pairing with Dahiln by the all star break next year. Samuelsson and Joki on the 2nd pair and Jonnson earns a call-up miseason, never to bo back down and plays with Bryson. I that's a cool young core, and they developed chemistry that will be good enough for a bubble team next year.

I don't make a habit of siding with lgr on things, but I interpreted your post the same way he did, and am also confused by your concerns with Levi's durability/toughness at the NHL level in a couple(three?) Years.

I think in the 23/24 season Power-Dahlin will be a great top pairing that anchors a deep playoff run. I'm willing to wait and excited to watch them grow.

Fair question. I don't believe the state of our goaltending is mismanagement or incompetence. I think it's intentional with the end goal being a top three pick that can be part of a young core ready to compete for a playoff run in three years as opposed to a 22nd pick that may contribute in 5-6 years. I think with the talent we have coming we'll have an excellent team in the 23/24 season and beyond. I think if Levi/Portillo/6K prove to not be ready that is when Adam's will bring in a good goalie from the outside. I think we finally stumbled into a competent GM and coach. I'm happy with the development I'm seeing. I'm excited by the talent I see coming. I'm hopeful with the surplus of picks we have in the next two drafts and confident they have a team in place who will get the picks right. I'm willing to ride it out a few more years. I think they are finally getting it right. I know I'm in the minority.

I think maybe you're giving too much weight to line numbers? I think the cozens line would be the shut down line and their TOI would reflect the other teams top line, at least on home ice. Because of that I wouldn't label them a 4th line. Not in the traditional sense.

Or.....he's building the team the right way. Maybe he feels that by the time Levi is ready the kids in front of him will be seasoned enough to make a run. In the meantime, aquire high end talent through the draft with our abundance of 1st/2nd round picks the next two years as DG develops the kids. I'm fully on board.
