Suggesting a guy who will finish 1st or 2nd in the Norris vote hasn't really had his cup winning window open yet is just not accurate. This. Preds might blow it up. They really like Askarov. I'd trade 6K, 23 1st, 24 1st, 24 2nd, 25 2nd and Ollie for Saros, Ekholm and Jeannot.

In a redraft I would still take Power first, I think he's great, but Beniers has earned the Calder so far this year.

IMO our style of play leads to more of these than average and I think 6K does a good job here, on that we agree.

When you say "critical", do you mean late in the game? Or do you mean against a breakaway or odd man rush?

Did 6K have a couple surgeries recently? I think I remember reading that but not sure. If he did, maybe it took awhile to work out the kinks? He had a rough start when called up, but I think he's been decent the last few months. I really think part of his numbers/stats is a result of the style of play the team plays.

Currently, I agree, I like 6K alot. If Saros becomes available though I see what their ask is.

Nashville may decide to blow it up soon, if they do Saros will be available, they're really high on Askarov. Saros is who I'd target.

He also can see Bedard scoring 40-50 goals next year. I don't know who the guy is, and I disagree with almost all his opinions, but he's on a Sabres podcast talking sabres prospects. I thought others might be interested.

Hadi Kalakeche was on the Locked on Sabres podcast today talking prospects. Of our three centers he thinks Östlund will be the best player and Savoie has the greatest chance to be a bust. He also says he'd trade Savoie for Chychurun.

I agree with you that he would produce more on Cozens wing this year and the team would be better. I also think Quinn will be better than him, possibly as soon as next year.

I am also fascinated by the Seattle build in contrast to the Sabres. I’ve paid more attention to them since the Tolvanen claim, as a Preds season ticket holder I believe I have a decent understanding of what he is relative to our roster, I think it was a missed opportunity.

I get it, it makes more sense to me to. I listened to it a second time after reading the post you quoted, and I don't believe LA makes that trade, but it's what John said. Seems crazy for recent #2OA and #8OA that haven't fallen out of favor. I don't think I'd trade Savoie straight up for him let alone add to it.
