I have two Irish setters. One is extremely intelligent, the other is very dumb. One is excited and playful with other dogs, the other is timid and hides behind me. 40 goal scorers don't sign for 6M. I don't see Olofsson as part of the core going forward and I believe he's pricing himself out of a job in Buffalo as I think he'll be able to command significantly more money than Adams will be willing to give him. On the plus side I think his trade value is going higher with each goal and I'm hoping Adams uses him to upgrade the defense. Girgs is criminally underrated by some on this board.

Hines is a great fit for what this offense does.

Not a fan of the defense that allows the fewest points in the league by a wide margin, a defense decimated by injuries including their all pro CB and Safety? Really?? Allowing Green Bay to run the clock out on themselves down 17 in the second half is absolutely acceptable, I don’t care if they finished with 300 yards rushing.

My biggest complaint with olof has always been he doesn't forecheck. I think he's been much better at that this year. I think Mitts has been mostly solid. Isolated charts don't usually provide a complete picture. However, Olof would still be the first player I'd ship out of here for help on D.

I agree with you, but I believe when this team is ready to compete for a cup Adams will have it figured out. I think you agree with that. I also believe it's more likely than not that when the time comes we'll have more quality forwards than available slots and our upgrade on D will come via trade. I'm not sure if you agree with that, but I am curious what you think.

Dahlin and Mule are 22, power is 19. That's three top end prospects. Joki is the old man at 23. Our top four is set for at least the next five years. I don't get the pearl clutching over the lack of defensive prospects, I have faith that Adams will stock the cupboards over the next two years.

There's a good chance Saros will be on the market in two years. That would be my plan if Levi isn't ready, but I believe Levi will be a stud.

I don't think there's any chance Matthews signs with the Leafs. I think that's why his current deal ends his first year of UFA eligibility. He's gone.

Love what Marsch is doing with Leeds. The way they pressure the ball reminds me of a good forechecking team in hockey. Don't know if it can hold up long term, but that three nil beating they put on Chelsea was special. In a perfect world Pulisic finds his way into that system.

I think that's the right decision. I'm very high on Kulich and won't be surprised if he's called up around Christmas.
