  1. Why not at this point, what else can go wrong in Buffalo
  2. I just don't get it, is the world just against Buffalo and it fans....
  3. He was in the Regehr trade I believe.
  4. I went with Fowler due to his handiness, and 1 year left. Plus I really think Vantanen is rather bad with only a slight upside offensively
  5. Just curious on your opinions and unsure of where to put it https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/300898 Next Year https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/300906 In 2 years
  6. I've got to say, for once Sullivan wrote a good article that wasn't him just complaining about something absurd
  7. He may have been offside but by a lot less than a meter, i paused at 0:07 and hes touching the line and the puck carrier is near the line. So offside by about a stride I'd guess
  8. Had my 4 wisdom teeth taken out yesterday, hope the Sabres can entertain me today.
  9. Just incredible, be sure to tweet it to him
  10. Freaking awesome to see Jack wishing your son a happy birthday. Also I too hope its good luck!
  11. I get the sense this team lacks a strong vocal leader, they have multiple quiet leaders and if we could get winning that'd be great because they'd keep the team from getting full of themselves. The problem is that it only seems like Eichel is actually vocal, Kane might be but his personality and past makes me doubt his leadership ability. Gionta and O'Reilly are akin to Pominville or Briere's style of leadership, we need a Drury. The guy who takes players into the closet and tell him to ###### shape up or go home. Add the fact that Bylsma is again a more quiet "intellectual" styled coach only exasperates the problem. The best teams have a combination of leadership style, from the hard nosed, to the quiet confidence, to the loud and at times abrasive; a good balance of that maintains a great team. We either need a coach with a bit of fire or at least a vet with some. Someone who fires up the team when they get lazy or unfocused. A Chris Drury styled leader, at least in the stop gap since it seems as if Eichel may eventually become something of that ilk.
  12. I got to be on TV since I was sitting near RJ in 319 row 1 next to some old guy
  13. If I had to guess, its a combination of saliva and flem build up caused by the heavy physical activity while on ice. Think long shoveling jobs and how your throat feels awful and your nose gets clogged, that's how they clear it out. Disgusting ain't it?
  14. Jagr suspects he wont be resigned by Florida, any interest here?
  15. Sounds like you had a blast, and like your viking forefathers, traveled to the new world experienced it and can return home a feeling accomplished. The fact you hung out with Ullmark is even more awesome! If only you could met Lehner and Larsson too :) Maybe next year!
  16. I don't think we think Kane is bad as much as we need a Dman, and he's the only high end asset we have that isn't under our control more than just next year. As for Kulikov, I don't he wants to stay. However if he plays better defensively over the remainder of the season then I'd be more willing to think about a show me contract.
  17. Amazing game, sounds like you guys had fun. Any Buffalo win over the Leafs though is great.
  18. You're one of those people who'd like hitting banned, aren't you? To make a hit
  19. That's what worries me. He'd better not trade Reinhart or I'll be absolutely livid
  20. Briefly this year in Florida
  21. According to Paul Hamilton, Kulikov is miserable here and seems to be a loner in the locker room.
  22. I'd guess it won't happen barring the captaincy or without Kane/Foligno/tough guy Sam or another less physical player gets run. Remember, when Moulson got ran from behind earlier this year Eichel went in and practically boarded the guy over the top of Moulson so I don't doubt he has the fire. But sort of like Toews, I see at best 1 per 2 seasons once he's become more less a young vet at 24/25 or so.
  23. To be honest they all have something Isles have their Jack-lite in Tavares The Coyotes have a more offensive less physical Risto in OEL And the Flyers have high end young D with a high end Center and Winger, they just seem extremely dependent on Giroux, Vorachek, and Simmons to carry their offense. As we saw Ghostbear made them a playoff team last year, and this year he hasn't quite produced as much thus they are on the outside looking in.
