I agree unless he’s wanting 3.75 + He’s a solid player but not quite worth that much.
-
Supposedly only if it’s over 4.5mil I read. Effectively if an arbitrator says he should make 4.2 mil we would be forced to pay
-
Well if he wants over 4mil I don’t mind the lack of a QO
-
According to our local AP guy, Kahun and the Sabres will look to hammer out a deal tomorrow but it definitely sounds like Kahun wants much more than the Sabres are willing to give him and they didn’t want to deal with arbitration.
-
I’m guessing Kahun is already in the midst of being signed.Krueger likes Kahun so I doubt he’s leaving.

Could it be possible they weren't drafting for immediate need but for a specific type of player? One thing we certainly lacked was an elite scorer type prospect where as we technically did have Rossi type in Cozens. While I'd disagree with the decision; I will say it does make some sense.

Turris being bought out

Sabres Move Up to 34, Select John Jason Peterka
thewookie1 replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Hmm, we reached a bit for Quinn then did the opposite with Peterka. I like this pick quite a bit. -

-
Matt Murray to OTT for Pick 52.
-
Why is it we always go through this? Why must we always suffer while watching others rejoice? Why do we take 50% successes over 85% successes? Why do I even bother?
-
I'm furious, I absolutely despise the pick since it was not only over Rossi and Perfetti but spits in the face of practically everything Adams and staff said they were doing. We took a one dimensional goal scorer that will take at least 2 years to work his way up to the team and will more than likely flame out like many before him.

Technically yes

Please Rossi, please. He strikes me as a great potential player with some Eichel/Dahlin level drive
-
I’m rather confused by the trade; CBJ already have some cap problems and need to sign their 1C. Also how did Anderson value higher than Domi?
-
Alzner and Alberkader are on waivers to be bought out. CBJ is leaning towards buying out Wennberg Jack Johnson has now been bought out.
-
Some Islander fan proposed our ‘21 4th for Komorov and Bellows. Komorov is 3mil in cap but not salary and could be a solid 4th line role player and we’d get a solid prospect in Bellows

There will be a season unless they don’t have to pay the players at all. Even in empty stadiums they make some amount of money from advertising which is more than cancelling the season and merely taking a loss. I’d guess they will cut inter-conference games and likely end up with a season around 55 to 65 games. 3.5 months for the season and then a regular playoff would start in mid to late April. Then use 9/10 weeks for the playoffs. Go on off on off etc and it should be very possible.

I know she’s on Cap Friendly

I'd ask our goalie coach, who previously worked with Fleury, if he thinks his Save % slippage can be fixed. If he does, then I'd say, hey Vegas To BUF: MAF '21 1st NJ's 3rd in '20 To VGK: Hutton
-
Then trade Miller or Risto and keep Montour. He isn’t a cap dump either

I'd be interested in Grabner for his speed and PKing and even Wennberg if he's bought out by Columbus. Grabner would likely know Krueger already and played with Okposo back in the Isles organization so he might be interested. Think of it, a 4th line with Grabner and Okposo could be pretty solid. Vets, and both former 30 goal scorers in their youth.

1. Rossi 2. Drysdale (his scouting report says he never tires which could give us a damn good 1-2 punch with Dahlin and Drysdale) 3. Perfetti 4. Sanderson 5. Raymond (his skating worries me)

Going the old Williams route the Bills did for awhile
