  1. It will be interesting to see how the Rutherford influence takes shape there.
  2. Good to see Krebs stepping up with Quinn missing with an illness. His goal was really nice. Peterka is everywhere, both due to his play and the announcer's mistakes lol.
  3. Peterka made an effort play to race back and prevent a 2v0 from happening after Laaksonen blew a tire.
  4. I want it on Twitter and I want the NHL shamed for cheating Sick of us being screwed on goal/ no goal calls
  5. Go get Bishop Adams, take Khudobin too If that’s the price. Between all of these old injuries we should be able to cobble up 82 games worth of starts
  6. This more recent time, we didn't exactly have a ton to tear down; we had a wooden shack on the beach lol
  7. I just want to add that goalies not only have the longest incubation period but also are wildly difficult to get a read on; even when they play in the NHL. Every year, without exception at least 2 or 3 goalies play way above their career average and a few others tank for little to no reason at all. Some goalies are incredibly streaky (Bryzgolov), some are pretty much one hit wonders (Tim Thomas), some take the league by storm and then pitter out (Murray) Binnington was a mediocre at best AHL goalie forced into the NHL due to injuries and suddenly took the Blues to the Cup and has retained a bit better than Murray.
  8. What exactly do you want him to do? Getting a solid goalie is far easier said than done. Should we trade our 1st for Gibson? Railing on something only can be tolerated for so long unless you have a strategy that doesn't mortgage the future. None of us are happy with the results; but no GM, even the greatest GMs, can make players appear out of thin air.
  9. Benning has been bumbling around there for almost 7 years now. (He was hired in 2014) Signed a myriad of awful contracts and made multiple bad/questionable trades. I honestly feel bad for their next GM who'll be trying to fix a roster with a supposed civil war going on while having almost his entire roster under contract . Just look at their CapFriendly.... I'm not saying they're terrible but the last 2 years they've merely piled onto a roster that had 1 good run during the COVID playoffs.
  10. Can’t blame Adams for this really; Eichel requested out when he was hired effectively. You can pin that on ownership and Botterill but Adams really had little chance to stop his truck from careening over the edge.
  11. Still don’t believe Adams refused to offer Ullmark a fair contract. Presently he is overpaid by the Bruins. I don’t accept Vogl’s claims over the multiple differing reports of 3x5mil which was a very fair offer. He was a solid goalie whom was injured at least twice a year. Paying a guy 5 to 6 mil per year to play about 25 to 30 games is honestly bonkers. In my opinion our goaltending situation would be about the same with Ullmark still here when you add his typical injuries. We would have a better ceiling goaltending level but if he played 12 games before getting hurt; we still be in the crisis we are in now since Anderson isn’t coming out of nigh-retirement to backup. Thus we’d still be left with Tokarski, Dell and UPL. (I doubt we would of acquired Subban if Ullmark were still here.) Our record would be a tad better but we’d also be paying our goalie 5+ mil for about 30 to 40 games max. I don’t disagree we need a goalie desperately but who’s to say many goalies were even interested in coming to Buffalo. The longer this goes the less likely we will be capable of acquiring a competent goalie for a reasonable rate. And I’m not interested in trading a 2nd for a rental goalie.
  12. Rough night all around. We are truly cursed with terrible luck. Murray hexed us by trading all those goalies who kept playing well in 2014. Now we can't find one for the life of us or they get hurt constantly (Anderson, Ullmark, etc)
  13. Hopefully Subban gets his first start; always love goalies when they play with oddly colored equipment
  14. Guessing the concussion rumor might be true in that case. If Tokarski actually has COVID and isn’t just a contact then he could be out a couple weeks as well. I’d hope Adams will go get Holtby from Dallas if he’s available for a reasonable price because I never wish to see Dell play another game here.
  15. Now that one team took the risk the rest feel fine with it. Granted there's no saying it won't still backfire on them.
  16. I'm sick of people crucifying Dahlin; he had an ok game. Just because he makes a couple errors doesn't mean he's worthless. Miller quite literally gave the puck to the Panthers 10 times; Dahlin has some rough spots and likely needs a skating coach but it wasn't anywhere near his fault for us blowing this game to a hot Panthers team that just did the same to the Capitals the other night. Dell was well, Dell. We were inches away from a 5-4 lead if it weren't for a Panther having a golden horseshoe up his ass and Olofsson almost tied it twice.
  17. We are honestly a cursed franchise
  18. Florida certainly has become a dirty team haven't they?
  19. Refs are doing everything they can to kill this lead; they’ve let Florida get away with everything
  20. I’d start UPL or just forfeit the game
  21. Vogl was the only one who said 1 or 2 years, most of the other reporters said it was 3x5mil
  22. Well he had a great run in Vegas during their inaugural season.
  23. I doubt they'll win based on their overall performance in Florida over the years regardless of the respective team's strengths. However I'd much rather hope for a grand return of Mitts. Buffalo wins 4-3 on a late goal by Mitts. Manchester Windows
