  1. Including the WJC I assume? If he continues at this pace we may need to sign him to have more of a challenge lol
  2. I believe its a tad slowed down, The other clip is slowed a tad to show the dekes more clearly. In real time its more of a fast movement followed by a slow goal score
  3. Krebs got nearly kneed down in OT for no penalty. Malone bumps Frost from behind gets called. Samuelsson blocked 2 crucial shots on the PK Quinn & Peterka with SO goals to win. Quinn had a Patrick Kane style goal.
  4. Doubt Bjugstad will ask for his money back after that BS pulled by the coach.
  5. I was going for the Classic loonie tunes one https://www.youtube.com/embed/pQxh9Sn0Id8?start=22
  6. What I would give to see someone sucker punch Lucic into a concussion protocol.
  7. Well, let's see what Granato can do during the intermission. I want to see them flying like Pittsburgh was against us.
  8. Probably part of it; as a whole we can compete with far better teams but when they begin shortening their benches the difference between skill levels becomes more pronounced. Additionally we produce less offensive pressure since we have no way to brutalize their weaker defensemen who tend to be sat. It would fall into the same reasoning the Oilers fail in the playoffs in part, but in reverse. The Oilers have 2 incredible players who when on 1 line; if they can be cancelled out, or at least contained, the other 3 lines get caved by their opponent. Our problem is that our depth is pretty capable but we lack much of any top end scoring or playmaking. Effectively, on the road it becomes far more pronounced as we can’t play matchups. Even if Cozens can end up in a draw with Crosby, Pittsburgh can merely shift around Cozens to give Crosby our lesser line of scraps with R2 and Bjork. And once they start grooving it makes Cozens’ job even harder to the point the dam begins to crack and leak.
  9. One guy I thought of is Kris Letang who's a UFA. While not a Defensive Dman he's a seasoned vet with 3 Cup rings and was arguably the 1D in all of those runs. We'd certainly be able to pay him for a 2 year contract and he could be a mentor for a group of multiple young dmen. Samuelsson - Dahlin Power - Letang Bryson - Jokiharju Pysyk That would give us quite a deep D corps, especially with the number of guys in Rochester still such as Laaks, Fitzgerald, and a newly signed Ryan Johnson
  10. I’ll certainly give you that
  11. To be honest I don’t like her pbp. Her high voice gets grating rather quickly and when goals aren’t happening she has a tendency to get more quiet until the crowd noise starts overtaking her. Weeksey is a good color commentator but I don’t think any woman works well in a play by play role. It’s all in the voice.
  12. What a drag of a game, Amerks put great amounts of pressure but couldn't get enough to go in. UPL played ok but let in an embarrassingly bad goal which ended up the GWG for Utica.
  13. Can it with the negative waves man. Lol
  14. Have to say I liked Granato’s postgame interview. He wasn’t happy with the 3rd and that’s a far cry from only being dissatisfied with losses.
  15. Hayden drops out 1st, then either R2 (to Rochester) or Bjork likely for the 2nd. Caggiula would come out for Tuch in January They will likely shuffle the JAGs a bit once we actually get our full roster back.
  16. To them, probably
  17. I would have to be curious to ponder what we should do if the hypothetical scenario arose where we were hovering around the DeLuca .500 come the Olympic break. I certainly wouldn't push in all the chips for some nigh-kamikaze playoff run but I'd certainly search for a potential short term 26 to 28 year old player who has a couple years on his deal left. Effectively a J.T. Miller depending on his personality and price. I'd trade our lowest 1st this year and one of our Non-Power Dmen prospects for him. But only in that specific situation as center depth is vital in a playoff chase and run. Otherwise, a good goalie stop gap would be my only other potential target. Regardless I'd want to still go into this draft with 2 1sts and next year with at least 2 2nds; so effectively my budget is our lowest 1st, a 2nd in 2023 and one of the D prospects, likely Johnson. This does not exclude any sales of UFAs like Butcher, potentially Miller, and any JAG forward not named Girgs. Tuch would effectively be our default "playoff" acquisition.
  18. Huh?
  19. Who exactly are you referring to? Tanev is the only defensive Dman I can think of who hasn't become a dud in the last couple years.
  20. Well one thing for certain, so far this season they have had more fight in them than most of our previous 10 years.
  21. ***** the Leafs, ***** the Refs, ***** all of em! Absolutely a gut punch after such a good effort by the team. I could go without ever seeing Dell in our jersey again. Again ***** the Leafs and all they hold dear.
