Methinks Rob isn’t very bright. He’s had his problems and hopefully he has figured some of that out but this is way over the top. Perhaps he was trying to set up for life after hockey ?

They had the mantra that they wanted to be hard to play against at home. I don’t think they are. Except maybe with their speed. When they use it. Teams certainly don’t fear this team. Also the PP is in a big funk. With our firepower you’d think we could correct that. But we always seem to struggle when we’re pressured.

Barnburner. That was some fast hockey. A fun game to watch. The result leaves something to be desired. We’ze streakin.

Whatever happened to tough to play against at home ? Feels like they’ve given up on that. Some kind of psychology witchery woo going on there. Anyhoo go Sabres !

Never thought I’d see the day fans of essentially a no hitting team would lament the fact one of our guys layed out a big clean bodycheck. First minute, last minute who cares. Get your licks in because the other side won’t hesitate. Dahlins message every time he hits someone is I deserve space and respect and I will do what it takes to get that.

Jeff Marek believes Portillo will test free agency.

One thing I will say about Marek is every time I listen to him he certainly champions the Sabres as an exciting team on the rise. Literally brings them up all the time. Its refreshing. -

Well the sky isn’t falling but that game was dreadful to watch. Hopefully there’s a lesson learned in that one and move on. What I’ll call a clunker. -
I just friggin love watching this team

Wtf these guys are fun to watch. Tuch was a beast in overtime. Dahlin played like the best D man in the league. Oli with the ot winner and his 2nd of the night. Even the much maligned Mitts was on his game. Cozens, skinner, pecka, everyone digging in and doing whatever was needed to scratch this one out. Great game

Is Tage Thompson a top 10 NHL player? Is he top 5?

Asking the magic 8 ball... Yes, yes he will ! -
I think what we’re seeing is everyone deals with these situations differently and lets be real, there is no one true way for people to do that. Everyone needs to respect others different ways of coping especially if it doesn’t align with yours. Apart from someone having an awful take or a flippancy about the young mans condition or life most people have shown respect and thats all one can ask for. Myself I’m going to watch hockey. Last night in our household the young man was on everyones mind and the conversation centered on him. Tonight its hockey and we’’ll wait to see how he’s doing when that info is made available. Go Sabres !

I Agree but nothing the NHL does makes sense when you think about it.

At one point they said cpr for 9 minutes. Not sure if I heard that right. They also mentioned the backboard but maybe thats common ?

Bummer. Ottawa played a stifling brand of hockey and not many teams can say they held this Sabres team to 1 goal or less this season. Points we needed squandered. -
Be a better friend. Pick up the phone more. Check in. That kind of stuff. I tend to get caught up in my own little world. So just improve in that regard.

When I think about Casey what comes to mind is the 2 or 3 strides with his head down where it appears he’s hustling back out of Bostons zone after losing, choking up or giving away the puck only to let up and coast as his team mates chase the Bruins down into our zone. Every friggin time. His backcheck is essentially 2 or 3 strides then glide. A few games ago before the blizzard ( not sure which game ) he did come back hard and strip someone of the puck or intercept a pass but that was an outlier. He’s either out of shape or lazy.
