I don't want this organization to avoid mistakes. That is the exact philosophy that Lindy and his crew use, they play not to lose. You will never win that way. Pegula needs to prove he will sacrifice dollars for a trophy. And if the dollars aren't showing results, it means you bought the wrong tools and you need to replace them (along with those who suggested those tools).

Because to me, this is all about the economy, and I believe in a consumer driven market place as opposed to all this supply side crapola. Trickle down economics was never meant to work for anyone but the wealthy. And anyone who thinks that a Progressive economic plan adds to the deficit, they haven't done their homework on the budget the CPC put forward a few years ago. It's all about jobs for everybody, man, that's all that will save us. And I find it impossible to believe that so many otherwise intelligent people in this country don;t see just how far right of center the Dems have moved. Don't talk to me about any of those fringe issues meant to distract us from the economy. People getting all caught up in gay marriage and abortion and gun control right now are dupes, or paid operatives doing the duping, IMO. I want to live to see the demise of the Republican party. The Democrats are the new Right, in my opinion, and there needs to be a real serious people's movement headed up by the likes of Bernie Sanders and Alan Grayson that form the New Left. That is what I see the natural progression being. After all, racism is going to die with the death of all our parents (for the most part) and when they are gone, the Republicans will garner maybe 10% of the votes anymore.

I have no clue whatsoever where Doan is going to end up, but something is bugging me about those who think they "know" that he isn't considering Buffalo based on the media's assertion that Doan "wants to win a Cup". Simply put, if the Sabres are offering a 4-year deal, that's obviously because Doan thinks he has 4 more years in him. Or at least he sees that WE think he does. ANY team in this league can win the Cup in 4 years, regardless of the state they are currently in. Especially once they have a Doan to build around, but especially teams with some serious talent in the pipeline. So why wouldn't he consider Buffalo? I see zero reason.
