  1. The main thing I take away from that link is how much Darcy really killed us with those drafts from 2009-2012. Actually, more like 2005-2012. The twin Tylers year was alright, but other than that its a wasteland.
  2. Pump action shotgun + explosive slug = Murfrees turning into pink mist
  3. I love running into the KKK. Its the only time I have a great opportunity to use my dynamite.
  4. Alot of times I'll set Arthur heading somewhere and then use the cinematic view to let him travel by himself while I go pee or stare at my phone (which is fine until you get jumped by the gorram Murfree Brood or something). I probably should train/stagecoach it more, especially for long distances. I used fast travel stuff all the time in RDR1.
  5. My wife will drop in every once in a while, I'm always just riding around. It takes a long time to get places!
  6. Reminder that Edmonton traded Eberle for Ryan Strome in 2017, then Strome for Spooner in 2018. Now Spooner is going to waivers in 2019. Never change, Chia.
  7. The thing that kills the old routers isn't even always the speed, its the amount of connections you can make. 10 years ago you had like 4-5 devices in your home that used wifi, now I can see 7 things in my living room alone that use it. The old routers just weren't made for that. I never thought about it until my dad upgraded his a few years ago and mentioned that as a reason.
  8. That just makes me sad all over again that the Jags were in the Conference finals.
  9. meh, if he doesn't care about the money then just leave. He doesn't owe them anything. Maybe on a personal level he could have been better, but I don't think he cares about burning bridges. Besides, if anything he helped the team in the long run.
  10. Its been a contentious few weeks on the board here. We really need another win streak to pull us back together.
  11. Excited to get to watch my team (Chelsea, who I've definitely always rooted for since childhood and not since last week when they bought Pulisic) play on NBC tomorrow so I don't have to find a stream online somewhere. Assuming, of course, that my antenna actually decides to pick up NBC for once.
  12. When is the meetup game? I never got tickets but maybe I'll show up for Beauts and beers afterwards.
  13. Anyone want to do a quick recap or quote a few key comments? I voted when this first started but I don't really want to read through 6 pages of stuff. I'd appreciate it.
  14. Yeah, I got spoiled too, but I'm finishing it. Man, chapter 6 is...depressing. But I also heard some stuff about an epilogue, so I'm going forward. Still, I've done just about everything else at this point, so now I'm just doing mission after mission and its not holding my attention as well. Once I finish I'll probably restart and just leave a save sometime in chapter 2 or 3 so I can tool around and just do whatever I want.
  15. I don't think anyone is saying that they did it because they were white and white people are inherently awful. The commentary is that white men are 1) more likely to be in a power position then women or other minorities 2) more likely to be able to get away with things like this in the past because there is an inherent prejudice in the system where crimes like this by a minority are less likely to get glossed over. It comes down to the old boys club thing. White guys in power are more likely to give other white guys in power a break. Therefore, the white guys in power are more brash and empowered to do crappy things because they know they can get away with it(edit: OR don't even think its wrong to begin with because hey, its just what us guys do, right?).
  16. I absolutely attribute it to Kim on the overall. Especially after the Brandon thing. I think that embues the rest of the company with the same mind set, too. That guy didn't call Kim Pegula, he told HR or a superviser/manager and they passed it up the chain, which it would have been just as easy to not do. Good on him, good on them, and good on Kim (and Terry, at least by proxy) for holding people accountable. yeah, that'd be my assessment. 22 y/o drunk kids and a handful of old barflies.
  17. Well whoever said that was spot on It all went wrong here: If you're at Brickbar after midnight and your over, like, 25, your just asking for trouble. I say that having been there many nights after midnight. Good job by PSE going hard after this crap. To many companies ignore it or hush it up. That this was taken seriously immediately says a lot.
  18. I think it just came out today. At least I just found out about it. I'm still about halfway through. I'm right at when he got traded to Montreal and dropped to the AHL because they didn't want him in the game, which I had basically forgot about.
  19. Since this Scott topic is already up, here's a podcast all about John Scott going to the All-Star game: https://www.wnycstudios.org/story/radiolab-punchline
  20. Makes sense, I was doing an office floor so I didn't have to worry about the waterproof bit. Sounds like a lot of fun.
  21. I love that window thing. Give me fun little leftovers from the previous lives of the house, it makes it feel so much more special and unique. Great job with all the other stuff, too. Just put some of that faux-wood laminate stuff in myself, soo much easier now then when my parents did Pergo a decade or so ago.
  22. Well sure, but he's been dead for 37 years, so thats pretty good.
  23. but there's not eyespoke because Apple took the copywrite
