  1. Took a quick look, you've got Randall Cobb and Crabtree out there still, but I don't think either are that much better than what the Bills have now.
  2. I just mean free agency. I'd bank on one in the first 3 rounds. They're getting kinda full for right now, though. They brought 8 WR's out of camp last year, they have 9 under contract now. Add 1 or 2 in the draft plus a handful of UFA's and I don't see them going all out for a Tate. Not impossible though. He might come cheap.
  3. I'd bet they're done in the WR area, at least for names you'd know. I'd bank on another depth OL signing somewhere. So then the DL is the other big spot they need to fill holes. If they get Ansah they'll have done a pretty good job filling a lot of their holes without going too big for anyone. That frees them up a lot in the draft, and I'd bet they trade down if they have the option unless someone like Josh Allen (no, the other one) or one of the top O-linemen fall.
  4. IDK, I've managed to make it 32 years without punching someone in the face, or getting punched in the face for that matter, I don't think its "going to happen no matter what".
  5. Yeah, no I agree that what they have isn't good enough. I just don't think I want to tie up too much money in a top WR. The price difference between a 1A WR and a couple of #2 WRs is pretty negligable, and usually amounts to the same thing. AB is counting as 8% of the Raiders cap. OBJ is worth 9% to the Browns. Jeffery was 6.5 when they won the SB. Doug Baldwin was only .5%!! overthecap is being SUPER slow right now so I can't track down the rest, but I'd be interested to see what percentage of the cap has been assigned to their WR group over the last 10 years for each winner.
  6. I liked Barry, too. Def takes a darker turn than I expected, though that's really on me.
  7. Oh yeah, like I said they're not set there. I just don't necessarily think you need a clear #1 to be successful in this league. But if you don't have a #1 you need like 3 #2s, and I'm not sure the Bills have any of those.
  8. IDK, looking over the last handful of SB winners, even if you ignore the Pats, you've got Philly 2 years ago, Denver 2 before that, Seattle, and Baltimore. Who were the big WR names for any of them? Philly had Agholor, but he's no OBJ or AB. Denver was Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, Seattle had Doug Baldwin and Golden Tate, and Baltimore had Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith. All those guys were good, but not, like, GREAT, right? Or am I not remembering them correctly. At the very least they weren't great for a looong time like the other big name guys are. I don't think any are HOFers. Not saying the Bills are set there, they definitely need some more help through the draft, but WR isn't the place I'd tie up a TON of money.
  9. Well that's a nice little run for the Bills.
  10. I'm going through this year with the Sabres what I went through a few years ago with the Bills. I was so obsessed with them, had so much energy and emotion tied up in that team, that I needed to kill the fan within, and then regrow it from the ground up. I stopped watching games, stopped listening to the radio, stopped reading every damned article about that team, and let my fandom die. Then I let myself have a little access back to it. I'll watch a few games a year, but the second I start feeling that frustration welling up inside I now give myself permission to stop watching and do something else that's more fun. Its made watching the Bills palatable and, sometimes, even enjoyable again, even though the team is still horse****. Going through it this season with the Sabres now and whooboy does it suck. But it will hopefully make the future watchable for me.
  11. Its all about just doing it. You learn as you go. Watch youtube videos. This sort of stuff is both an art and a science. The trick is knowing when its an art and when its a science, haha.
  12. The seats are going to lift up and have some storage underneath.Thought about doing stuff in the front, but we want to put a small baseboard heater on the front because it doesn't get super warm up there (as you can probably tell from the space heater).
  13. Cladding on the outside will just be some thin ply, luan or the like. Its going to be painted white so I don't need to do anything too crazy with it. Probably some extra trim. I've been looking at the picture since I posted it and I agree with your assessment of some more bracing, I definitely see some gaps that should be covered. Diagonal bits would be good too. Chamfers are coming, I just needed a break from cutting angles, haha. For the sill, my gameplan is to do one piece of nice 3/4" ply going over the top of the whole frame and going in to become the sill as well. Picture below. Plan would be to cut to size with a little extra on the front sides, slide it in and attach it, then cut out the center bits and rout it all flush. I just came up with that idea the other day, so I haven't really workshopped it yet; I'm very open to a critique/suggestions there. Should also give some extra stabilization to the whole piece if it works. To your last question: a hell of a lot. All the other parts of this project have just been so I could get to this point, haha.
  14. We've been redoing an extra room we have in our attic and turning it into an office. We drywalled, installed lighting, redid the floors. I still need to do moulding and some trim work, but the other thing I'm working on is a window bench to go in the dormer. Progress so far: Planning stage Trying to remember how triangles work: Framed out:
  15. Montour Mausoleum is good. What about the Montour Morgue?
  16. Not to just jump on the guy as all Chelsea fans have been doing, but yeesh Jorginho has been roouuugh. 3 give aways already in the 34th minute in this game, and that missed penalty last week. Killing me.
  17. No, there isn't. but it said this on Wikipedia and it confused me originally: Power play or penalty shot goals are excluded. An empty net does not matter for the calculation of plus–minus. I read it wrong. I thought I read : "an empty net goal does not [count] for the calculation of plus-minus." Thats interesting, and seems more worthwhile. Thanks.
  18. Yeah, you're right, this is what I get for reading Wikipedia. Here it is from the horses mouth, as it were: http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=26374 Its possible wikipedia was referencing a goalie leaving early on a PP or something.
  19. Its also worth noting that +/- does not take goals for on the PP or goals against on the PK into account. ̶I̶ ̶d̶o̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶n̶k̶ ̶e̶m̶p̶t̶y̶ ̶n̶e̶t̶ ̶g̶o̶a̶l̶s̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶c̶o̶u̶n̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶e̶i̶t̶h̶e̶r̶,̶ ̶t̶h̶o̶u̶g̶h̶.̶ WRONG.
  20. I thought you were making a Letterkenny reference, haha. No worries. They do, in fact, need to figure it out.
  21. Been a while since this one saw the light of day! I went to see the Arkells last week, and they are a blast every time. Canadian pop/rock band from Hamilton. They played the harbor a handful of times over the last couple of years. I don't even know their music that well, but hot damn do they put on a live show. Then Rev. Peyton's Big Damn Band is March 8 and I'm going to Cleveland(ish) to see PUP (another Canadian band) in early April. This might be the most shows I've gone to in this short a period of time outside of the Thursday shows.
