Never went to a game, but I did go to the circus there was I was young. I've said this before, but really my only memory of that place was my mother holding my hand like grim death as we walked down the oranges to our seats.

There are a lot of things that point to this being a fair bit of puck luck and that the team will regress. Its probably true, and you should be mentally prepared for it. BUT that doesn't mean that we can't have a ton of fun with this team in the mean time. What it DOES mean is that Botterill still has a lot of work to do. What he does in the next year regardless of the success of the team will tell me a lot about the type of GM he's going to be.

So playoffs have to be the goal now, right? Not in the mix, playoffs. I'm not saying it's guaranteed; they still need more from secondary scoring, and if Jack or Skinner get hurt all bets are off.

Anyone on here in the Charlotte,NC area, or know it? I'm driving down there now for a wedding and we don't have anything going tonight, so I might try to find a Buffalo bar to watch this game.
