Happy Thanksgiving, my sixteen year old picked out a 22.5 lb turkey... He is 6'3" 220 so it was nothing for him to pick up and frankly he didn't even look. We made him cook it with supervision. Now we will have turkey till x-mas... oof. Now I am at work and can barely keep my eyes open...

Agree with Wyld many factors... indoors, cold, protests on both sides, ignoring safety protocols with increased numbers of people brought together especially indoors... people came back home from vacation areas that were spread out...

N95s if worn properly protect you, surgical masks reduce some exposure but not fully. Rural spreading events in bars happening because drunks getting in peoples face slurry words and sloppy convos happen and worse without masks. Later and more people more likely the exposure.

No but someone should have protected the kid. My oldest has done it a couple of times. Once because he was one of biggest kids in his class in elementary school older boys were picking on his small friend clocked a kid two years older and recently now that he is huge he had a stern convo with kids bullying a developmentally disabled kid. We talked about how to handle those kids and told him not to pick a fight but make sure they knew their actions would not be tolerated. I am truly proud of him.

Bullying happens and kids test their limits but its up to parents to put cabash on it quickly. The relentlessness of what this kid did shows me his parents didnt do squat and kid didnt learn the lesson.
