  1. Just got up to our Amherst MA house this weekend. Got three ripe tomatoes... many more coming... a Jalopeno Pepper, a full bag of string beans, 4 zuchinni, 3 cukes and some peas. The Brussel sprouts look like they are on their way... Carrots look decent... and the celery is making great strides. Needed to put the peppers in more sun so may be out of luck for decent stuff and PS a couple of acorn squash are on their way as well more zuchinni.
  2. We are lucky so all we have to give up sleep. My wife and I have arranged our shifts pre-covid at the Hospitals we work at so that someone is always home. That being said... oof.
  3. The school thing is confusing unless they separate the classes and make them smaller... meaning only half the school is there at any one time... Still trying to figure that out for my kids. PS We are not going to send my special needs youngest kid to school. He is too handsy and touchy feely. So gonna online and home school him... decisions.
  4. Yes and No... No given your point... yes because you would have thought they understood how NY got it under control and followed suit. Even NY needs to be careful not to drop the ball...
  5. Yeh that is hard to find in a database
  6. It tracks numbers from John Hopkins but an easier mobile format i check back and forth occasionally to see if numbers jibe. Seem to be pretty consistent
  7. Right now it at 3.7% but part may be delay in deaths after all this positive testing unsure but expect it to be around 5% when spike subsided. Hard to tell but give a month or two.

  9. Fla about to pass NY in total cases in approximately 6 days... Cali 3 days... TX... 14 days
  10. My Dad used to clear those things of unexploded ordinance because they had become hazards to shipping lanes We want Larry.... non carborundum illegitimus.
  11. BTW Re mask wearing and O2: Not sure how accurate but would debunk anti maskers. Though I do think some folks get anxiety wearing masks that can cause them to breath heavier making it feel like its a problem. Still if you get used to it not a big deal.
  12. Actually it has proven to be both though not as effective for yourself.
  13. Interesting way to test spread: https://apple.news/Au1XHH6lgSU2B9do0jQvxmQ
  14. Anyone think Will Borgen can take that next step... has some grit pretty good skater decent size 6'3" could use another 10-15 lbs and good passer not sure about his shot.

  16. I will be there as long as not Swamped...
  17. But functional! Maybe clean up the folds a bit, but the out pouching is nice.
  18. I dont think so and from what I can tell, surmise based on what happened here and as Brawndo mentioned Covid is causing heart attacks, embolisms, DVTs, PEs, and other blood clots.
  19. We moved to Buffalo in '68 when I was 4. So in 1970 became aware of hockey mostly because we played a lot of street hockey in the snow on Summitt Ave. Loved Perrault but Schoenfeld was always my favorite. Listened to the radio under my pillow because my folks would not let me stay up late to watch past 1st period. To me Lorenz killing the bat was one my most memorable, the Schoenfeld /Cashman fight and the umpteen times Gil split the defense and scoring after starting behind his own goal line.
  20. Datsyuk Lemieux Brodeur Forsberg Lafleur
  21. The positive perspective has some flaws. Yes elderly are more vulnerable... but covid is causing weird blood clots that cause heart attacks, PEs and brain aneurysms that result in long term care after covid symptoms are over. These cases are even occurring in people that were asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic so not sure I believe the analysis and these problems are occurring in younger people. If what he says is true then why are these hospitals reaching capacity when then otherwise wouldnt?
