Sure, so you say... NJ has a long way to go before they can reclaim that mantra... Palat isnt gonna solve their issues... and that snarky magic elixir comment isnt warranted... Sabres are young... they need a guy or two who can guide them when crap gets tough on how to take it up another notch.. they made progress last year on talent and team work and coaching... but they have a couple more levels to climb and imo it would be helpful to know where to tie off the rope as they go up each level so they dont fall back.

He said he was leaning going back... but said the end he intends to sign... not thinking about FA... that being said he left wiggle room... not sure his issues with Sabres or trying to be like an NBA player and go where he wants... also the question for Sabres is how good is this kid... and does he feel ready for NHL... lotta things could be going thru his head... wants to get his degree... promised Mom?? He wasnt very clear on what might be holding him back.

Buffalo would be close to his family... he is older and may be able to sign him for two years and teach youguns how to compete... I think he might be a good fit.. a boy can 😴
