Unless heavy forecheck then especially if the wall and middle of ice is taken away... Sabres do adjust but I would like to see them id that a bit faster reverse the puck more and do more high flips with a player going up ice.. just try a few more home run pucks to loosen up the forecheck. They started doing that more toward end of the season... With their team speed youd think they could take advantage of teams pressing.

Yes agreed but I think this gives them a top pair plus two relatively even 4-5, 5-6 pairings that can be interchangeable depending on circumstances... Seems to be what Adams prefers... flexibility and balance on lines.

Sure, so you say... NJ has a long way to go before they can reclaim that mantra... Palat isnt gonna solve their issues... and that snarky magic elixir comment isnt warranted... Sabres are young... they need a guy or two who can guide them when crap gets tough on how to take it up another notch.. they made progress last year on talent and team work and coaching... but they have a couple more levels to climb and imo it would be helpful to know where to tie off the rope as they go up each level so they dont fall back.
