Now we are unintentionally bad.... so maybe the Sabres get better... the Isle fired their coach and the GM is the real problem. Letting Grabner and Okposo go has been a huge blow..., they are a worse tire fire then before.... other than JT was is left... Heck Matt Martin was let go and he was their energy guy with some scoring. Sadly the Isle are really hurting so not likely the catch them or the Avs for last.... but one could hope or win the lottery.

God I sucked tonight. Went skiing yesterday at Jiminey Peak and at my age, I play like the Sabres... can't do two strenous things on consecutive days. My femoral biceps are in rigor. Didn't help that I ran out of my contacts and had to play with my glasses tonight. Peripheral vision was way off.... Had about a period in me and that was it. Sigh was on the ice for 2 outta the three goals against. Worst game in a long time...

Dont agree with all his moves, but he did take risks, better than Darcy. Needs to step it up though and get some talent in to take the next step. -

Sabres inconsistency in my mind is a lack of decent 2 pair defenders. Bogo, Kuli, Gorges are giant misses on Murray's part. Losing recent young D has killed Sabres. Scoring in return not enough. Hoping this sort of tank helps, scared it may be two more bad seasons before Sabres have enough talent to move forward :(

Lehner trade officially a bust could have drafted a D with that pick and kept Chad. . Murray's genius shows through.

My heart is saddened as well today as a good friend Scott Carlson passed yesterday evening. Big 6'5" 300 lbs salt of th earth Swede originally from Jamestown NY. He helped out a lot of stray cats... meaning people... but a stroke 3 years ago which revealed lymphatic and lung cancer finally caught up with him. Met him him Amherst MA 12 years ago and his friendship and vociferous political discussions, he was on the opposite pole sort of from me, but more just an instigator will be sorely missed, as well as his patience and timely insight. RIP Scott. Scott was 58. Modo my heart goes out to you and your family as well.
