    Philli may be sellers and besides the gratuitous Gerioux rumor, Delzotto and Streit, 2 Isle castoffs could be for sale... Any thought of a swap for say Kuli and Gorges and maybe a 4th rounder. Twitter sphere saying quins possibly interested in Kuli... who would you want back?

    Hey Coover and Detroit received 1 loser point each and Detroit a winner point tonite to maintain and get closer to Sabres... Both have a chance to catch the Sabres so Sabres can get a higher draft choice as they plummet in the standings. So frustrated... for a moment there I thought about playoffs. Defense is so one dimensional except McCabe and Risto... Bogo has been trying but getting back hasn't been his strong suit and Kuli is done... Franson is a good but slow as crap 7 man... Really liked it when Falk and Fedun played together. D has lost a step since those guys were disbanded...

    Biggest problem is that he didn't acquire a D that could step up... Kuli was over estimated and hurt... Gorges has been a disaster, Bogo has gotten worse and was injured, None of the young league guys are ready, though Fedun and Falk were serviceable and appreciated... Sabres still need a second pairing and they need two guys... IMO Bogo, Gorges and Kuli should be gone next year... at least Kuli at deadline and Gorges let go... Bogo should be traded around the draft or over the summer. Would love to see Molson go and let the young guys come in next year. Add a healthy Fasching with PU and possibly a developing Nylander, combined with Baptiste, Rodriguez and Bailey and that is two nice future lines to go with the current top two... Obviously mix and matching with the top two, and having Gionta and probably Foligno around for another year will let these guys develop. But the forward lines look nice and who knows if any other of the college or junior guys step up next summer. But the Sabres need D probably picked with their top two pics unless they have acquire a young guy via trade... What a frustrating year...

    Defenseman Johnny Oduya was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks by the Dallas Stars on Tuesday for minor league forward Mark McNeill and a conditional fourth-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft. Oduya won the Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks in 2013 and 2015. He signed with the Stars as a free agent two offseasons ago.
