    And we all agreed at the beginning of the year that the team was at least two young players away. A D and a scoring winger. Although no one expected the Sabres to be this bad. Injuries probably most of the cause. A high draft pick who can play and some more developmental players with some of the previous ones taking the next step should make this the last year of the true tank years. Cant say Im disappointed except I wish I could see more entertaining hockey.

    Need to make net larger and catching glove much smaller. High sticking contact with another players head should be a 5 min penalty down a man. Pads no larger or wider than actual body. Eliminate blue lines, offsides only on redline.

    Fair points dont think we disagree, maybe Borgen could be called up too. But by default with all the injuries it is an unintended tank. On the forward side, I think you keep letting the youth gain touches of experience at the NHL level.

    Whether or not you call it Tank intended or not.... playing the kids probably wont get the Sabres in the playoffs, but they will be a lot more fun to watch. The energy that Carrier and Bailey bring was pure joy and why I lke to watch hockey. Sam has found his groove.

    Interesting statement. Book on Sabres play well for long stretches then break down and give up great chances. Not said but ends up in sabres net.

Bring up kids a let them play sit Moulson and Gorges or makes some trades for young talent and tank on.     Agreed, not bas otherwise. Problem is I think all he really needs is a good goalie coach and that is on Murray. Reminds me of Bishop right before light bulb went on. He has potential but lets in too many critical head scratchers. Again... because the big if is can he be properly coached.... Murray paid too much. Still luv his passion and hope he can figure it out.

    So now that Kulikov's back and OReilly are out. Timing couldnt be worse or it is some of this practically it has exposed this young team's lacknof depth and its killing them against teams like the bruins. Tough to warmtch but its ok if Sabres find a few more viable assets. ? do they find them in the draft, fa market or trade or all three and do you think Murray is more judicious with his higher round draft choices. Finally next year is about time some of these guys start paying off or is it more sit and wait.

    Agree, Saw it today action good, story line a bit redundant... meh.BTW saw my first Star Wars.. 1977, almost 40 years ago when I was in 7th grade, the same grade as my current 12 year old son... neat.
