  1. It just is to Callaway... why question?
  2. https://images.app.goo.gl/B1mt1GetG8tMybwz7
  3. For the newer CT units the imagery is amazing, almost MR level for soft tissue. Older machines you are correct which is why I mentioned 256 slice
  4. Or it could be these guys are looking more long term health v recurring problems... not sure?
  5. Plus 256 is about 10th the dose of a 64. Can scan a whole body in just over a quarter of a second v mri can take an hour though you wouldnt want to do a whole body
  6. Again in lieu of 256 soft tissue images with 3d fly thru recons have amazing detail. I know you guys are used to MRI images for that but have you seen the full capability of a 256?
  7. you misunderstood 256 can be used in place of mri with 256 not talking clearance at that point
  8. https://images.app.goo.gl/n1M6tGCnY5nWqo4V9 like this one
  9. Yes mocking bird sounds right... there was a hedge on 15th street in DC that had a nesting pair that would dive at people walking down the sidewalk. People would watch the show as unsuspecting passer bys would get attacked. Even made the Washington Post with a photograph of one in a full dive of an unsuspecting pedestrian. Will never forget that photo.
  10. Sorry didn't state it well was tired last nite. You are right about metal in eye and any metal prothesis-in body is nowadays non ferrous but serial numbers need to be checked. If not good a high resolution CT can get pretty close 256 slice machines or higher produce pretty amazing soft tissue results.
  11. Probably diagnosing it with MRI takes a while to schedule, labs for Gadolinium, checking for metal in his body if so, then needs a good CT scan and waiting for any swelling to subside if MRI. Could be a number of reasons for delay and often physical therapy is tried and cortisone shot or shots to see if that can alleviate problem.
  12. PS lots of rinks around, not a lot of stands... Rye Playland me able to hold a decent 1,000 capacity and they just redid it. I think the Rangers practice there
  13. Princeton is just north of Philly so about 2.5 to 3 hours. You can take a train though.
  14. Tic Toc Tic Toc... sigh.. long off season...
  15. I remember going to a game in Bastan that year sitting front row, because Bastan still stunk, they had just gotten Chara, but Drury and Briere were magical and they beat the Bruins 3-1 that game. It was a Birthday gift from my wife from six months prior and we had just moved the prior year from DC to Amherst, MA to get out of the fishbowl. Talinder was still healthy at the time and with the team.
  16. Not that I am aware, Mustache of God may know more about a place like Columbia... LI has some places. But Chelsea piers stands are nothing to write home about, Elmsford nope, Terry Conner rink in Stamford CT is the closest I can think of with that kind of capacity. Fordam doesnt have a team... maybe Rutgers in NJ but people in NYC dont go to NJ. NYU doesnt have a rink... hmmm?
  17. Loved the comic and sports sections
  18. If anyone ever gets up to UMass area for a hockey game you have to go to Cooks farm ice cream store called Flavvors. Ice cream straight outta the cow and neat flavors.
  19. Oof, no playoff hockey tonight... feeling a little joansey tonight... it is going to be a looong off season. How soon to rookie training camp? Oh yeh and the draft... sigh... October til real games is a long time.
  20. Full Moon gotta be tonight... Our ER is crazy
  21. Agreed but some of these places need upgrade to make them attractive to semi casual fans at least Brewster would need to be.
  22. Heck where the Apple Core Play, the Junior A Team in the area, at Brewster my guess is the stands hold 1,000 at best.. the other close places are Danbury and Bridgeport
