  1. Yeh not letting me??!
  2. https://bracketchallenge.nhl.com/leagues/nhlsecondchanceleague Only creation is current NHL league trying to figure out creating Sabrespace 2nd chance league.
  3. 3rd pair at best... Sabres need guys up front, that being said if they trade Risto... maybe
  4. Unless someone pics him before 7
  5. Given the Alternatives what do you have to lose?
  6. True
  7. Yes I would on Turcotte
  8. Helluv a game Dal v Nash... both teams were laying out for this one... overtime was something else... Wow. Bishop deserves Vesina
  9. Sure Ill just name it Sabrespace2.0
  10. Half the Sabres are too young to grow one, oh wait.. ?
  11. Kid can catch and is shifty out the back field, but not a power back.
  12. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Norris_Memorial_Trophy Winners not finalists, still looking
  13. Best example I can think of distinguishing the two traits is Jonathan Toews in his prime was one intense guy but not overly physical vs someone like Victor Hedman who is physical and skilled but not overly intense
  14. No I think they are two distinct traits and Turcotte seems to have both. See other debate and why I agree I too like Turcotte.
  15. Interesting debate... though I think its both... intensity begets physicality and physicality can unnerve the other team and limit physicality especially if they see themselves as not being physical enough to stand up to other team. Skill and speed can negate physicality if a team doesnt back down and if a team remains intense. Really good teams have a blend of both imo.
  16. No its worse not in an Isle more like an ER bed... say holding B, is there a Doctor in the house?
  17. That is a heckuv a comparison... not saying you are wrong... and the more I think about it... spot on!
  18. Yeh, I could work with that...
  19. So don't respond... let him have his way and you stand pat with your's... you have that choice not to respond. I respect your stance... don't like it but respect it. PS My second favorite NFL team is the 9ers, but not sure I would put their helmet on as my Avatar on twobillsdrive... its your choice and again I respect.. just don't respond because of the Sabres history with Carolina... we are likely gonna pick at you... just saying... If it was another team other than Toronto probably wouldn't be such a big deal.
  20. I don't disagree with you on a fair amount of stuff you post... it is the tone... question can you change? That may answer the question about O'Reilly as well.
  21. JJ, why do you insist on poking the bear...
  22. Can that deficit be overcome... sure, but it is an disadvantage, especially for a young developing team. Overtly no, but I think it is part of the sales pitch that starts much earlier than you acknowledge....we will have to agree to disagree.
  23. Let's put it this way, in Presidential elections the winner doesn't win in August, but the loser can sure lose the election then. The sales pitch is a process and having a good coach, or not one in place puts you behind the 8 ball the longer you wait...
  24. Yeh got that, but minds are often made up or at least narrowed down before then where folks want to go if the offer is there and without a coach Sabres are still a question mark. Again, the sooner the better. Part of that Sales pitch is who is the team's coach.
  25. Got it and like the way both are playing... you know more about the talent in the draft then me, but there always seems to be some shifting around toward the end of the draft and was just wondering how tight these rankings are?
