Agreed folks need to keep the powder dry on this one. Despite what I think about Trump... this deal seems like a military run target of opportunity- meets need given the current involvement of this guy and Iran in the area. My gut reaction outside of politics is it probably needed to happen. How this Admin handles the fall out is another issue, but again it is one of keeping powder dry... and yeh Trump gets to crow about it, but if he oversteps and Iran goes off the deep end reacting then there will be plenty of political consequences. Till then stay tuned.

I disagree, Datsyuk in his prime was God... in many ways way better than Crosby defensively and offensively. Crosby is special and v the other guys sure... but that Detroit team had so much talent and Pavel was so modest and quiet he almost got overlooked, but watch his highlights they were/are insane and he brought that almost every game.

Speaking of wrestling... toward end of Isle game Jack was tackled going to the net no call and there were at least 2-3 other blatant non calls yet the Sabres farted on an Isles player and got called... Bias yup believe it happens. But Sabres arent good enough yet to even really close complain.

Fair enough... just see a little more moxy and attitude in Cozens than Mitts. Mitts has the skill imo, just not the tude… if he finds it and not sure he will... then great Sabres will have two up and comers... they still need to draft more guys that can carry the puck and play with strength and trade for some as well. I would not be scary if the Sabres somehow found a 2nd line center this past summer. Cozens will get there, but how long will that take 2 years? The Sabres still need to find one, at this rate they may be able to draft one next year, still that may be another year away as well. Ok do we have the lastest scouting report on the 2020 draft.
