Cant comment too much because it is all about wins and losses... but imo Cozens needs to get out of his own way and Power needs to grow up... betting this is the first real rut he has been after years having smoke blown up his arse about how good he is... it is frustrating but like my 20 year old this generation may need more patience than we are used to... because they dont even know what a belt or two by four is... wake up dudes.

Spent time this weekend in Pelham Ma working on rental house, cutting up trees that were down, hanging out with my college aged son, played golf badly, got out leaf blowers and stared at the stars...

Power and his weak moving guys out from front of the net... on going problem... but didnt help UPL see that tip. I'd keep Power off penalty kill... no angst nor urgency.

Learn how to fillet boys... quicker... easier and no bones... with Pike either cut out Y bone or cook and pick them out if you dont want to waste the meat... easy enough.

Ii have one of those I did it in my twenties blocking a spike playing volleyball... finally had it xrayed in my 50s... two fractures and ossified ligament... I taped it up that night and woke up the next morning it looked similar... still cant straighten but never hurt very much... oh well.

cut it off... seriously will feel much better after popped back in place... just xrayed a kid who did something similar playing basketball...

UPL looks slow side to side... good positioning... last year he worked on quickness and it showed... now he is back to being a step slow.

Tuch was meh in the first... reason for first goal against... didnt back check but was better after that... looks like a couple guys still getting into game shape... Power now learning Ruff way to be more physical but its gonna take time... he depends on his stick and skating but not that big frame to do damage.

The D picked their spots, but agree forward came back deeper on D and did a lot more work on breakouts... me likey... if Sabres can vary style from game to game much less predictable.
