The few games I've been at this year, I sat right next to the bench, 3 rows up. Trottier is always the most vocal coach of the bunch. He has a particularly nice touch with players who screw the pooch. Especially the young ones. He's constantly communicating to the players. Very Biron-like at times with all his chatter. GO BILLS!!!

Stone hands to be sure. But that's not his job. He's one of those invaluable glue guys who will get the most of his limited minutes and more often than not be an absolute pain in the ass to play against while he's out there. So in my mind, he's better for us in the role he was acquired for than McNabb was when he was here. If that makes any sense. GO SABRES!!!

Agreed. I think Deslaurier for McNabb straight up has been worth it. Fasching is gravy and he has way more potential than either. GO SABRES!!!

The either/or is not what I meant to suggest at all. What I meant was that even if he never ends up winning a cup or a superbowl, Pegula still will have done something for the city of Buffalo that far surpasses both. By light years.

Here's one thing we DO know: Zadorov reported over weight and out of shape. He was benched during the prospects tourney. Then he was glued to the press box for the first month and a half. Did we hear a peep out of him? No. Instead he was challenged by the staff, worked his ass off, and is now showing why he was a 1st round pick. None of that speaks to a player that wants out, is unhappy, or has motivation issues. Quite the contrary. And he's very generous with pucks for little kids during pregame skates. GO BILLS!!!

That's a funny description. Great stuff, PA. We all understand your frustration. I think TP wants that cup as much as us and once he committed to the total rebuild, I was convinced more than ever. I heard Peters say on the radio this morning that Z would have eight points in the All Star game and win the car as MVP. Says Z knows only one way to approach life and play the game. Having him in that game would raise EVERYBODY'S level of competition. I'd love to see it. GO SABRES!!!
