McDeichel. It just sounds better. And again, I'd be happy with either of them. Eichel is a long strider with deceptive speed and puck control and has great vision. It'll be interesting to watch him vs. Canada in the under 20 world junior tourney in a couple months. But perhaps the biggest thing to remember is, as somebody posted above, neither of McDeichel will be a savior. But in a rebuild, you have to have that cornerstone in place and both these guys have cornerstone written all over them. We are gonna have a ton of cap room to help surround them with top-notch veteran talent as well as the consensus best prospect pool in the game. And an owner that will spare no expense in doing whatever it takes. GO SABRES!!!

My question is how many of those nearly 500,000 apprehensions and 230,000 non-Mexicans were detained as a precaution and later released as non-threats? Sounds like the Border Patrol is doing a helluva job is the sheer number of apprehensions is any indication. Have you always tracked border apprehensions this closely? And what, short of closing our borders do you propose we do in addition to what's being done now. As for Fox being the only network to report, it's not surprising. Like most of their sensationalized stories that seek only to promulgate fear among their core viewership, there is no "there" there. This is nothing new. But I'm not surprised a Republican congressman carried the torch for them. When I think of what the main purpose of terrorism is, to engender FEAR among a populace, I can only say that the terrorists have been kicking republican and Fox news ass for years.

With regard to presidents prostituting themselves on late night tv: is there not a HUGE constituency that tunes in at that hour? When we start seeing politicians on reality TV series trying to appeal to their voting base, I'll worry.

My comment on respect was not meant as a defense of Obama or an indication of how you should or shouldn't feel about him or any other person on the face of the earth. I know he made the rounds after he left office, usually to plug a book or some cause. And he was a great guest on those shows in my opinion. Funny, self-deprecating, just an all around nice guy. I had a ton of respect for him when he was in office. He is one of the few that actually walked the walk. It's amazing how far the apple fell from that tree.

I noticed in today's stats that Girgs is only -2 on the year in all 13 games played so far. I don't hold up plus/minus as the be all, end all stat, but in this case, it's amazing and truly telling of his effort on the ice. A -2, while on the ice for an average of 17+ minutes a game on a team with a goal differential like ours? I think that's an accomplishment. And he's STILL only 20 years old. Can't wait until he's a captain. GO SABRES!!!

There is NO legitimate reason for someone to have to wait 3 hours in a line to vote and yet, they do. I wonder why that is.

Just keep the big kid up, continue his intense training regimen, and play him a few times in each 10 game segment if you feel the game is still too much for him. This shouldn't come as a shock to anyone. These cowards won't settle for anything less than impeachment proceedings for Obama's abuse of power. The Founders new and understood this very well. Most of them, anyway. Jefferson put it best when he said that governance is like a jacket that needs to be let out or taken in as ever changing societal requirements ebb and flow. That's the beauty of our Constitution; it is adaptable and that's just how it was always meant to be. I could never understand the strict constructionist arguments to the contrary.

I think it's somewhere in the Constitution that you shall not phucketh with the cheap labor pool. I'm convinced that was the major motivation behind the amnesty granted by the Reagan administration.
