    Great point. I would add that these writers have evolved to the point where they can finish each others' sentences, too. Just a far tighter production from the outset. Kim pissed me off last night and I wonder how much longer Jimmy will abide her hypocrisy. She was laughing about the ruse he played on the cops and then gets all sanctimonious about the video. Guess it is OK to lie to the police but not OK to manufacture the evidence to support that lie.

    Exactly. Political posturing is one thing, not doing your duty is quite another. Regardless of the rhetoric, nominees were named, hearings were held, and nominees were voted on. The process was not obstructed. This current group of cowards won't even have hearings for any nominees. Not a good precedent to set.

    Ah, great point here. I hadn't thought about the opportunity it presented Kane for just what you suggest. I don't think he has ever been leaned on as a locker room presence before, but there is a void for him to fill now. I think he's up for it, too. GO SABRES!!!

    For one period, I agree. We put up 15 shots, controlled play, and had a physical edge. From the 2nd on, the Penguins made it a point to use their speed and they totally outplayed us. Just dominated us. 15 shots in the first and a whopping 12 over the next two. We were atrocious in the face off dot, especially in key situations. REALLY missed ROR, but I have a firm grasp of the obvious. I know we gave up a fluke shortie, but they also rang a few off the iron, too. Can't wait for that torch to be passed. I HATE that phucking team with a passion. They are up there with Boston, TO, Philly in my book. GO SABRES!!!

    My earlier frustration is directly related to the amount of enthusiasm I had going into today's game. Even the late word of ROR's absence didn't dampen it. There is NO team I would rather beat more than Pittsburgh. I am just tired of being their personal b*tches game after game, year after year. GO SABRES!!!

    Kane needs to be on the line with Larsson and Gionta. That line was dominant when together. And nobody cares when a winger phucks up the scoring chances for two other forwards that can't score anyway. GO SABRES!!! "Almost" Bailey is quick becoming his nickname. GO SABRES!!!

    Review all the case law since that clause has been challenged and you will see that the SCOTUS disagrees.

    That's no excuse for others and perhaps some of these guys are grasping at that crutch. Kane's lack of hockey awareness cost us three scoring chances. At least. Jack's floating and otherwise lackadaisical play prevents him from being the force he needs to be. ESPECIALLY in the absence of our best player. Samson doesn't look comfortable at the center position. These are impressions based on a season's worth of observations to date. I don't think I'd classify them as conclusions set in concrete; I understand it's a work in progress. But I don't care that they are young and still learning the league, either. I appreciate that some lessons are harder than others, but I get the sense that DD coddles these guys too much. Mostly, I'm must frustrated with today's game, though. GO SABRES!!!

    I'm done discussing the supremacy clause. Research it. What is it called when a state does not follow federal statutes?

    The word outclassed comes to mind. Just not ready for prime time. For as hard as he plays the game, Kane has absolutely no feel for it at all. ZERO hockey sense. Bag skate Eichel at his next practice. It is imperative that he is visible, EVERY shift. Lazy Jack showed up today. Samson is not a center in this league at present. GO SABRES!!!
