  1. Which has been my point all along. It's mostly about getting lucky with a 6th round pick many years ago.
  2. Free is right, how could Whaley go into a game with a rookie quarterback with no back up, a losing team's reject as his second receiver, a selfish pot smoker as his starting RB, two college free agents as his starting lineman, I can't believe he traded our best pass rusher for a washout offensive lineman thst can't even stay healthy..... Oh wait, wrong GM.
  3. 4 of the 16 tickets are in 114 do thst would be perfect.
  4. I am hoping to send out tickets tomorrow but am still waiting for a couple of e-mail addresses. It makes it a little easier if I can send them out at the same time but I will send them out either way tomorrow night.
  5. I'm working on acquiring other tickets for this game. I will let you know.
  6. Can't seem to clear them from my phone. I will clear some when I get home tonight. Also, in order to send tickets I have to create an account for each of you which means I need first and last names. Obviously I can create fictitious names but if you plan on using same e mail to create your own account at some point, it could create problems.
  7. I now have tickets in hand. I know you may have already done this but please pm me with e mail address you want tickets sent to.
  8. I have this parallel conversation regarding politics with friends I have a great deal of respect for. You and I couldn't see things more differently regarding Brandon and Whaley. I think you will be shocked where they both end up if we are fortunate enough to live to see it. Then again, it's all about .......
  9. Because he is as much entrenched at PS &E as Terry and Kim. He only leaves if it's for an even higher position within the NFL or something on par with that. I've come to expect that Whakey may move on depending on whose brought in but still maintain that that will be a mistake and he will not be unemployed long. Sometimes it's just all about timing.
  10. Brandon is not going anywhere.
  11. Cassel is the only quarterback that won a bunch of games. Took them to the playoffs the one and only year he had a winning record.
  12. That's probably true in most cases but not all. You don't need to know the intricacies of every department to know if the department head is doing a good job.
  13. A lot of very successful enterprises are run with a flat management structure. Problems arise if the top dog doesn't truly allow for differing opinions. If all top management is truly empowered and feel secure in their place, it's not meddling, it's discussion, give and take and eventually consensus.
  14. I'm not sure what to make of this but it's been a really busy few months for me so I welcome some guest analysis. And I still owe Hoss a jersey which should be rectified before end of September.
  15. There isn't a team in the history of football that relies on who plays right tackle. On the other hand, you are a lucky man. Have a great time.
  16. Actually not. You continue to act like the bills operate in a vacuum. Look around the league. Look at the standard bearer of a model franchise. the Pattiots apparently are presently constructed to rely on undrafted free agents and former first round bust to play offensive line.
  17. By the way I do have an extra ticket for Scott and tickets will be ready to be e mailed in a week or two.
  18. I haven't read while thread but this in effect is a way for the public to determine which games are gold, silver, value. I think it's brilliant and wish I had thought of it. The Sabrs and LQ were ahead of the curve when they went to the last pricing structure and it seems they may be once again setting the bar.
  19. This is so Buffalo. TE gets behind defense for 69 yard gain and it's a negative.
  20. We are up to 17 and I have a line on 4 more tickets via trade so assuming SDS takes one we have two more openings.
  21. The point is still the same. Stumble onto a franchise quarterback and you become a genius. Till then they all just muddle through. I see tangible results of Whaley's work but I would guess he will get this year and next to end the drought.
  22. Hayes, like Wheeler was a number one draft pick. Schultz was considered an elite prospect. All three were considered by most hockey observers to be at least on Vesey's level. It really isn't any different except that Buffalo is a legitimate option now and suddenly people who haven't seen him skate one shift know what kind of hockey player he is and people who could be sitting next to him on a plane without the slightest clue who he is know what kind of person he is.
  23. Hayes wasn't undrafted. He walked away from Chicago which should have demonized him more then Vesey.
  24. Adam Oates and Ray Stasiak were the first in my memory and had half the league bidding on them. In the last few years, Dan Dekeyser, Alexander Sustr, Blake Wheeler, Kevin Hayes all were sought after by numerous teams.
