Hayes, like Wheeler was a number one draft pick. Schultz was considered an elite prospect. All three were considered by most hockey observers to be at least on Vesey's level. It really isn't any different except that Buffalo is a legitimate option now and suddenly people who haven't seen him skate one shift know what kind of hockey player he is and people who could be sitting next to him on a plane without the slightest clue who he is know what kind of person he is.

Adam Oates and Ray Stasiak were the first in my memory and had half the league bidding on them. In the last few years, Dan Dekeyser, Alexander Sustr, Blake Wheeler, Kevin Hayes all were sought after by numerous teams.

It's not new ground. This happens at least every other year if not every year. Only difference this year is Twitter and the number of people considered journalist who now have a forum and the fact that Vesey may be better then usual college free agent. Washington drafted that kid from Notre Dame in the 4th round and I'd bet that most people in this thread can't even tell me his name without looking it up.

Fourteen of the 18 people(original 16 plus SDS and MODO) have paid. One member has stated he wont be able to come up with money in time so that leaves three people that still remain unpaid. I only need two to pay to cover my initial cost as I expect the extra tickets will be purchased after season starts and I can talk to people around my tickets. My hope is that we can arrange some pre-game get together as the date gets closer. Thank you all for your cooperation.

I belonged when it was Harbor Club and because if proximity to my seats it was worth it. Less crowded, bar stayed open longer, more accessible bathrooms. I have considered looking into it again.
