McNabb and Zadorov are journeyman who have yet to show an ability to be anything more then depth guys. I was one of the earliest aboard the Pysyk train so I'll give you that. The rest implies that there were better options available. As for the draft, no good organization drafts for need. You draft the best player available. Time will tell if he made the right move. The defense will be fixed next year and they will have at least three prospects waiting in the wings. After that the rebuild is complete and you only need to add a prospect or two every draft to maintain your edge.

The guy has been involved in 3 drafts and more then half the picks have been defensemen including 4 of 6 in 2015. At least 3 of the defensemen are considered solid, if not spectacular NHL prospects. In addition, he has signed one college free agent and about to sign one KHL free agent. The organization depth is barren because of what went on before he took over. Where exactly was he supposed to get these other defensemen? Can you give me some names of 23 to 26 year old guys that other teams have acquired since GMTM took over?

I will be out with someone tomorrow, I'll check although I know some have requested anonymity. -
A) Like I said, they are still developing as a team and I repeatedly said it at the beginning, I wasn't surprised st how they struggled. B) I am not on board with trading Kane unless it brings a #1 defenseman

You keep saying this but it's not just one player it's their best player. Every team can withstand losing their best player for a game or two. Losing him for and extended period is hard, made even harder by the fact the team is still going through the process of becoming the team it will be. If your top player is just another player you need to replace, then you definitely have a major problem.

If anyone's interested, I had someone drop off a couple of great aisle seats in section 118 I can't use. Would have to come to grand island to pick up.

Actually, Murray said Poole called him to tell him he was thinking of picking Grant and Murray let him know he wouldn't be happy.

For what it's worth, Vogl is reporting it We've's(sic) way, Kris Baker reporting it your way. I believe Vogl is right. They were trying to sneak him through waivers so they had the flexibility to send him down if they wanted but didn't plan on sending him down immediately. Like now, clearing waivers gives them a 30 day window. GMTM talked recently about the art of clearing waivers.

Fixing the 4th line - could it help fix the Sabres?

He wasn't GM when Wilson was picked. You are right that the other 3 are presently the only three that a case can be made for that the Bills should of picked. It's way too early to know if Prescott is worthy of this conversation. I'm not sure Cousins is much better then Taylor although he seems heading that way which leaves Carr as the only player he had a chance to get(it would have taken the same kind of maneuvering he is criticized for). So you basically want to fire him because he didn't trade up to get Carr. It's all about the QB and as much as everyone hates it, it's about luck.

Mike Tomlin was a one year coordinator with Minnesota before the Steelers hired him. He had no affiliation with the Steelers prior to his hiring and at the time it was thought he was simply a Rooney Rule interview.

Next week again. They needed Baltimore to lose twice and either Houston or Tennessee to lose twice, along with Miami and Denver.
-
As I said earlier, they would also have had to had Baltimore and Tennessee lose.
-
No, had something to do with multiple team tie breakers. Before this week, Miami, Baltimore, Denver and either a Houston or Tennessee had to lose both games. Miami because they would have gotten to 10 with one win, The others because of multiple team tie breakers

That's not even close to what he said. He was talking about how TP thought as he was hiring them and at least three times said himself that there were obvious differences between the 2.

Hasn't there been some discussion that Vegas will have a 48 hour period before the expansion draft to sign UFA's and is they sign a UFA they can't pick a player from the UFA's current team?

Have a couple of tickets in 114 I can't use if anyone is interested. -
I'm sorry if Jack isn't worth .85 more goals over replacement then he isn't generational. And like i said, i didn't count goals that happen just because you score goals(I know, not analytically defineable) or goals that a healthy O'Reilly or Kane add. I would rather have a more progressive coach but DB's system with a reasonably healthy line up is in the playoff hunt and at this stage of the rebuild that would be progress.
