  1. I am circling back on this thought: Can Darcy Regier be brought back? It IS that bad, help me!
  2. Penguins win 7-2 Zero hope. The crash continues as I read a Mock Draft once more everyday and go to tankathon.com for lunch
  3. The way things are looking for the Sabres the rest of this year and next year this leads to another question: Too early to start the 2021-2022 Lineup Thread?
  4. Jason Botterill's mouth is absolutely watering saying to himself: YES! Now I can acquire TWO more Michael Froliks!
  5. And Ottawa might have the Top 2-4 picks in the 2020 NHL Draft. San Jose might be the only team in worse shape then the Buffalo Sabres at the moment.
  6. Dahlin's development if I had to grade it is a C+ No real reason for concern, was hoping for a bit more goal wise, but like others said he is 19. One word of advice for the kid: stay out of the guaranteeing the playoffs business.
  7. I agree. Season is completely irrelevant from this point in. Shut Jack down for the year. Rename the area to KeyTANK center and have another Oven Mitt giveaway. Bring on the lottery
  8. Hmmmmm sounds somewhat familiar to another team we know I just can't pinpoint it though...?
  9. Amazing that Winnipeg is 20th in goals scored with the likes of Kyle Connor, Patrik Laine, Mark Schiefele and Blake Wheeler as forwards.
  10. To me the thought is very simple: The Sabres will sort of be working with a 'clean slate' going into 2020-2021: Big decisions to make on the roster with a lot of RFA's and UFA's. The 2020 NHL Entry Draft is VERY deep all the way to the 15th pick, oodles of talent coming in. IF the Sabres are lucky enough to get into the Top 3 that would be huge for the organization. Plus you have Jack Eichel, a true franchise player in every respect, and a soon to be franchise defenseman in Rasmus Dahlin, who eventually will be up for a contract. All TP, KP and the organization have to truly answer is this: With this off season being extremely crucial for how the Sabres will look for the foreseeable future, do you TRULY and i mean TRULY trust Jason Botterill to put his hands all over this team? When you analyze his drafts, the trades and the contracts that he has given out, can you trust him? Also, based on the on the ice performance and the fact this team was 9-2-1 and will be under .500 sooner then later, if the answer to this is YES, then there are MUCH bigger issues with the Sabres then just who the GM is. If they don't fire his arse, hire a President like Drury as an example, get an experienced and savvy GM, PSE will reap what they sow with a half empty arena for years, and we will all get to watch Eichel force his way out and cementing the Buffalo Sabres as THE laughing stock of the entire NHL. It's THAT important. WAKE UP TP
  11. All good I don't want to shortchange the 2000 title when the Yankees won 87 games and won the WS in 5 over the Mets
  12. I absolutely love how other fans are desperate to get the Yankees front and center into the Astros cheating scandal. Yankees are certifiably not angels but let's keep the focus on the Astros* shall we? Nice to see we live rent free in so many fans brains despite the fact the Yankees have only 1 WS title since 2000.
  13. If there was any time this team needed any good news, today is that day
  14. Whoops I forgot about that on the McCrimmon angle thank you
  15. I bet a good amount of this speculation comes from entitled hockey media folks from the big markets who are: A. Salty that their franchise didn't win the McDavid sweepsteaks B. Feel it is almost a right of passage that players MUST want to play for their beloved market. They mutter to themselves: How DARE a superstar player wants to stay in Edmonton or Buffalo?
  16. Two names: Dean Lombardi: Built the Sharks well in the early days in the 90's and was hired by the Kings around 2006 and helped build LA into a 2 time SC Champion. Has a lot of experience and brings instant credibility to the organization Kelly McCrimmon: Assistant GM for the Vegas Golden Knights if you want someone who has had more recent success.
  17. At this point I wouldn't even mind seeing Darcy Regier re-hired. It IS that bad now folks
  18. Also cant underestimate that Jack is wearing the C, its like in Titanic, the captain goes down with the ship. Having that responsibility changes a players mindset too
  19. This is all assuming Jack keeps playing through the hand injury he currently has
  20. The only thing that might help in terms of this is if the Sabres finish strong and have say 88 points if UFA's are considering the Sabres maybe they think about them more as they will appear to be closer to being a playoff team then if the Sabres tank terribly.
  21. Would have liked to see the Sabres take a chance on this player for the #2 Center role: Jack Rosolvic - Winnipeg Jets
  22. I also liked Fe Fi Fo Fuhr but I can't find that anywhere LOL Great responses in here keep em coming!
