  1. Agree I would say at this point most of not all needs will try to be addressed via trade
  2. Here is my take on Cozens. You do have to bring him in slowly. However, when you have a 7th overall pick, you have to surround himself with Top 6 forwards for him to be truly where you want him to be. I say 2nd line at worst for Dylan.
  3. I don’t usually quote myself but I had to!!!!
  4. I don't know what it is, I still have this wild feeling the Sabres are going to do something big, and that may cost is Reinhart, but hell Ill call it: Taylor Hall is coming to Buffalo. I
  5. Depends on the length and AAV for Brodie if this is good. I hope the Leafs massively overpaid but we shall see 4 years at 5M AAV.....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the Leafs just leafed
  6. Im trying I figure I have been incredibly pessimistic many times over 35 years of rooting for this franchise, why not be optimistic, even for a few more days?
  7. Holes are holes they need to all be filled. Also besides Calgary and perhaps Ottawa who both massively overpaid for their goalies, what teams have made big splashes thus far?
  8. This is an excellent under the radar move for the Sabres
  9. Call me optimistic but when Linus was healthy and playing well this team was close to the playoffs. I do not think it will take a miracle to fix the issues with this team to make a legit push for a playoff spot. It CAN be done. Get er done Adams!
  10. We just all need to realize this is an absolutely fantasy for NHL writers all over the USA and Canada and until the Sabres start winning, they will absolutely crave this conversation
  11. Dallas and Vegas were in this years Final 4 too. It does not guarantee success I do agree there, but I do think it is a big help for these franchises and a determinant to say, Buffalo, Winnipeg and other smaller markets in higher tax situations.
  12. One of several examples. Teams in Texas, Florida, Nevada have major cap advantages over teams in higher tax areas..Can add up to 6-7M advantage, Think of what teams can do with that extra cap space.
  13. Matt Murray 4 years 6.25M AAV to Ottawa: Anton Khudobin 3 years, 3.5M AAV back to Dallas. Tax advantages help. The evidence is overwhelming
  14. Turns out the information was fake, damn twitter bots my bad on that everyone
  15. Pagnotta 4th period, take it with a grain of salt EDIT; Turns out its fake, my apologies
  16. Edmonton offensively is going to be a nightmare to play against.
  17. The Wild have Stalock, move Dubynk, and then sign Tablot for 3 years? And they have an elite goalie prospect one of the best anywhere? Very strange goalie moves from Minnesota
  18. Rumor is Oilers are making big offer to Markstrom From Cap Friendly: Placing Tyler Johnson on waivers could also be a way for Tampa to get around his No Trade Clause. Meaning that Tampa could have a deal in place where a club has agreed to pick him up off waivers, and then that club makes a separate deal for 'future considerations' with Tampa.
  19. Tyler Johnson might be a nice cost friendly move for the Sabres
