Posts here way too much

I stretched the facts a bit on this one. She does in fact go to webMD all the time, but she hasn't actually looked up ebola there though. She has seriously considered the possibility of having it though over the last couple days. She has a student from Africa who went home over Christmas and got sick in class Tuesday. So now her imagination is running wild... even though that outbreak has essentially died out and the girl was nowhere near west Africa.

My wife is one of those people who runs to webMD the second anything at all doesn't feel right. She currently thinks she has ebola... I am not joking either.

He did have a supporting role in Lethal Weapon 5 though

off topic Star Wars - now with SPOILERS! (Read at your own risk)

That makes sense. They clearly cut it that way to present some family drama though, and I'll also stick to it being more than just Ren. He needs a Stimpy. -

The think that bugs me about the whole family line question is Luke's voice over from the teaser they put out for the movie last year. The line never appeared in the movie obviously, but the "you have that power too" line sounds like something he'd say to his own kid, as opposed to saying it to his nephew. I suppose it could be said to any student, but that's not the vibe I get from it. -
That and haven't we drafted about 200 guys out of Florida State in the last couple years?

I'm not sure I'd even go that far. It's going to be tough not to fixate on the number with daily trips to the scale. I'd go once a week or something. Even with fluctuations, if you're trending downward, you'll notice it.

I had completely forgotten about X-Files. We're in a slightly dead spot for shows right now, so I can't wait for that and a few others to start their season/half-season.

Certain arenas/cities are in higher demand than others. I can't think of any event that would come to Buffalo and require the arena for so long. They do cap the age... at 26.

And then there was that time where his head popped off while trying to catch a ball at the wall.

The term poopsplosion is in fact awesome though.

They need a hall of fame for sports stories. Originally being a righty and converting to a lefty would definitely be a HoF story. I'm fine with there never being a unanimous voting. I know there are politics and other craziness involved in the process. It's such a minor point, but when I think of who would be the highest vote getter in history, Griffey would not come to mind anywhere near the top of that list. But it really does come down to that craziness I mentioned. A big part of that voting is that he is the one guy from the steroid era who they all assume never touched the stuff (I'll be curious to see the voting when Jeter becomes eligible too). I'm not entirely sure why anyone is viewed that way.

I'm sure exactly what part you're getting at here since your words apply to just about every single post ever made on this board.

I wonder how much being a second generation player comes into play for him as well. A simple phone call to dad puts him in touch with someone who has walked the same road. That and the things he would have learned while growing up. edit: And I now see you did mention a hockey family. I must have skimmed over that line at first.

I heard the stat this morning that he received the most votes ever. I don't know if that's in terms of the absolute number or the percentage he received, but when looking at it that way, I don't agree with the sentiment of your post. Of course he belongs there, but he shouldn't be the guy who is closest to being a unanimous pick. But hey, we think he never juiced, so it's ok for everyone to vote for him.

What is it that made today a crazy trade day?

Are you suggesting he should wear depends?

They really need to make an all pro-style list and be done with the game all together. These games are already meaningless enough as is, but the combination of the positional requirements of this new structure and the "one player per team" rule is going to bring on a ton of annoying rants about how so and so was screwed over.

Speaking of that show and the purpose of this thread... season premiere tonight!

I'm always told that it happens and there are articles online that state it, but I haven't actually seen it in practice yet, at least not on the car we bought 1 year ago. They say it's about gas efficiency, so I bet it may be the case with some of the smaller cars, one's I wasn't specifically looking at last year.
