I like his game too, but recall GMTM publicly stating "peeps need to know their role" earlier in year and "maybe you're not a top 6" type stuff which seemed to be directed at him. Get a guy like Legwand in the room, while at a different phase of career of course, it's a nice add to even things out. "don't worry bro, I got 4th line covered and I'm good with it, 3rd is yours, do it."

Still too early for me. He's played 3 games? Will wait till March. Legwand has been better than I expected. He seems like a perfect fit for veteran happy to do 4th line and stable as opposed to our young Girgs, Eichel, Kane, Foligno, Larrson consistency "find my place" struggles plus Gionta (asking too much of him). Glad he was thrown in.

Eichel and O'Reilly a combined 0 shots on goal so far. They've looked OK but come on. Kane is our best forward tonight, but agree he needs "playmaker" like help to have a legit chance at scoring. Mostly just a good hard forecheck, faster version of Girgensons. Worst combined play I've seen from our d in a long time. How about a big hit or something if nothing else? This game should be 5-1. I agree on character read, in life and with your assessments here. But our information is heavily influenced by what the story tellers chose to share. That makes me less confident in that read compared to first hand. I also agree 100% on the FBI BS. But 12 people, with a lot more detail and testimony and investment than us, convicted him. That counts for something. I think the media is mostly parading any angle they can to get eyeballs since it's so hot. The crush angle on the defense attorney and journalist girl with glasses are especially funny. The prosecution story is an obvious one as "new" or difference since the rest of America is consuming the defense's.
