Knapp's #s looked good in the win this past Friday (30 something saves) but it was a bumpy ride. He seemed to lose his balance a few times and be out of control. Nerves maybe. Let's just hope the organization gives him a legit chance to develop. I've liked what I've seen from Genny Light. He seems pretty fast and confident through the neutral zone and definitely offensive minded. I've mainly noticed him on the opponent's side of the ice with the puck. Maybe since you have much more knowledge going in your expectations are higher. To me "hey this young kid is quick and can carry the puck through the neutral zone no sweat." As you say, it's still way early, I think he'll find his way.

Idk Ink. I agree it would be nice to see management more involved but at the same time I'm not that concerned. The team exists to develop talent for the Sabres. They are doing that with their current roster. Plus Adam and Mancari have not played well, even Varone is under performing I think. On D, Finley is the stay-at-home guy, long-term AHL / sorta a Vet, brings "toughness" etc. Vanek-Man good question about Rolston. He's definitely not my style. Show some freakin' emotion already! It looks like he's clock-watching, wondering if he'll get home in time to tuck his kiddies to bed.

Biega is a favorite, super smart and try-hard, good skating, but probably undersized for NHL. McNabb is fighting it over the past 3 - 4 weeks. Still looks good, but not dominant by any means. Yawn. They brought in Porter, Mancari, Tanarsky. These "faithful" people need to stfu. Evolution. Separately - Flynn was awesome tonight. Adam was not missed AT ALL.

Agreed with expectations/raw talent but Foligno is bringing the physical game consistently and putting up points - 14g 20a in 54 games. In October/November he looked like a bust (early I know). Lately he's leading the team.

Yes. I think Foligno's play over the past 2 months made this deal possible.
