  1. Past hour
  2. Per the bold, you are 100% correct. It is literally against federal law to provide government healthcare OF ANY KIND to undocumented immigrants, INCLUDE CHILD PROGRAMS. And while I can believe that these lying sacks of GOP puke Congressmen DO know better, many are ignorant of the laws on the books just as many of their MAGA constituents are. Until these lying scumbags provide PROOF that illegals have been given these benefits, they have ZERO credibility.
  3. That's fair. From my perspective, if we're looking for someone to play up into the role during the regular season due to injury, Krebs looked pretty good on Wednesday which admittedly surprised me. I'd like to see him play a second time in that role to see if it was just a fluke or not. I don't really see Quinn going to corners or creating space for Norris/TT in the same way. It's why I think Benson fits on the line well. Just a complimentary role.
  4. Hope Kesselring’s injury does not linger into November. 🤞🏻
  5. Looking at those lines (and the odd flip of 2 and 3 by expected ice time)…. Man, Benson really ties the forward room together, doesn’t he? That’s a lot to be riding on the shoulders of a 20 year-old.
  6. Vezina? Unlikely. But here are Ullmark’s career save percentages throwing out the high of that Vezina year: .913, .917, .935, .905, .915, .917, .917, .915, .905. Most of those numbers are with the Sabres defense in front of him, Housley, Krueger, and Granato teams… stellar defensive lineups. There might not be a more consistent above-average but-not-star goalie in the league. Ullmark would’ve been fine. With him as #1 starter, the Sabres would have had a positive goal differential last season. They’d have definitely ended the drought in 22-23.
  7. as well as lack of physicality and being really easy to play against...
  8. Today
  9. Getting dinged with extra penalties is common with any bigger kid in minor hockey. If it was in his DNA he could easily regain some edge. He frustrates me so much with his lack of engagement with opponents. I repeat once again that he is built like Pronger, plays like Bryson, but I just want him to get 10% more physical. Baby steps, make the effort and gain some room and respect.
  10. I wouldn't care if the illegal immigrants were from England or Sweden, my position would be the same. Your insistence on labeling anyone against tax payer funded Healthcare for illegal immigrants as racist is misguided.
  11. Don't be surprised if by November we are looking at draft orders. We do start 0-0 like the rest of the teams so it should be good October.
  12. For the Sabres it is... just sayin... actually its more of an operating model than a plan... I am feeling like this thread is going to age much better than I originally thought LOL.... 🙂
  13. Mentioning Ullmark, I wonder what he would have become if he stayed instead of going to a very solid Bruins team... I am guessing he wouldnt win a Vezina...
  14. That the biggest joke and slap in the face to so many people.
  15. We are helping ourselves just fine. We are people first, then Americans. It’s absolutely about race.
  16. Okay, you're wrong. Q.E.D. But seriously, this is the time to try to prove you wrong; it's still preseason.
  17. Mair has been fired. Go get help Adam.
  18. I don’t see it as race based although I guarantee there are people whose motivation to cut health care is based on race. Just because their motivation is wrong doesn’t mean mine is. It’s hard to help others if you can’t help yourself. It’s hard to help non citizens if aren’t doing the very best we can to help our own. Regardless of skin color.
  19. this team can't ever start a season healthy...just is crazy.
  20. There is nothing they could do. That’s like asking what could the 9-11 victims have done to make themselves a more hard target. IMO using the NC shooting to justify the issue of personal security as not being cut and dry and in the same post talking about people not wanting to lock their doors is wrong. It’s conflating personal security vs common crime with a mass shooting involving a highly irregular method compared to historic mass shootings. The idea of fear and paranoia being subjective I also don’t completely agree with but am open to discussing further. I think the world gives us a baseline of common crimes both violent and non violent to include situations where risk is higher. Something like a thief breaking into a house can be mitigated by locking doors. There is still residual risk and if someone is inclined, can be mitigated further. At some point the remaining risk (likelihood and severity) becomes acceptable because not doing so would be the definition of paranoid.
  21. How to screw up a good thing Mair Probably will be promoted to Assistant general manger lol
  22. I would rather see Krebs repeat his role on the top line than see Quinn. I don’t see Quinn as a fit there. I’d like to be proven wrong.
  23. Just because they are skating doesn't mean they are good to go for opening night. Samuelsson was designated as week to week for a reason. Hopefully they'll all be in the lineup opening night, but don't count on it.
  24. Boy, Ruff must be running these guys into the ground in practice!
