When the world ends the only things left will be cockroaches and Jacob Bryson wearing a Sabres jersey.š
-
We're also hanging him out to dry. It's barely sustainable for great goaltenders.
-
What senior leadership (if any) does Terry move on from in 2025/26?

You don't need to wonder. That's what happened. Jerry Forton is the brother in law of his business manager on the natural gas side. That's 100% the case and Forton is 100% a nepo hire. They've known each other decades before Terry bought the team. -
Entire coaching staff needs to go.
-
Probably. Although 31 other fanbases would most likely have the WTF! Why did you claim Jacob Bryson off waivers mentality?

Hard to say much different with the way he coasted back on the backcheck all too often. You'd think a player who wanted to improve would be busting his ass every chance he got to show it. Results and actions show what his mindset was. -
I really think Ottawas goalie had the worst goaltending performance I have ever seen in a real NHL game.
-
Guessing they did the requisite, who doesnāt need to pass through waivers criteria, as flawed as that thinking might be.
-
So you think he is not actually hurt?
-
Per AHL Transactions Page A NHL Coaching Staff in the year 2025, looked at Jacob Bryson and Ryan Johnson and decided the latter should be send down
-
I'd like to see how good/or not Colten Ellis is first. But I also can't see starting him while Lyon is playing so well and the Sabres need rack up a couple wins.

Dahlin is right behind with a -5. Tage is -4. Tuch, Bryson, Doan and Benson lead with +1. -
I would continue with Lyon and make UPL the backup. Gives UPL a chance to ease back into it.
-
Yeah but weāre scoring 8 goals a game now. So we only need him to be solid, which he has been.
- Today
-
Hopefully he can be slightly above average which is improvement for us. UPL is a hypochondriac who is always hurt. We have a soft team might as well accept we have a soft gopalie.
-
The Otters were literally playing like the Sabres, going so far as to add to their repertoire that stupid 80' dropback pass on the PP on about their 3rd PP.
-
That is the sense I get as well. Cynical as always for me. Ive said in the past that waiting until a player is in their pending FA year and trading them at the deadline is negligence. It minimizes the return. If KA feels the same way, this should be the last games we see Tuch in a Sabres sweater. Fookin shame, really.

He seems to be playing in a lot of different situations with different linemates. -

Every team faces issues with players who for a number of reasons prefer moving on. And every organization faces issues regarding makeup of roster and players fitting into their team concept. The reality is that when a franchise has been flailing for as long as they Sabres have, it is going to happen with greater frequency. JJP was in a contract situation that could give him additional leverage. So he used it. Good for him. On the other side of the equation, I believe that the Sabres got a fair return on the trade. It's all part of the business. -
Given the recent history of the franchise I struggle with the breakdown that only leaves room for beneficial outcomes If I had to guess it more so looks like a case where we will lose a player we want unless we make the playoffs
-
Big difference is Tuch doesn't have some weird obsession with playing for the Rangers

Goes both ways. The other side of this coin is the claim JJ had āno interest in improvingā and that he was āanti-cultureā and thatās why we dealt him. Donāt really see the need to call into question the mindset of a player retroactively but weāve been here many times before so itās hardly worth relitigating. As mentioned itās a both sides dynamic. Probably best to simply judge based on the macro results.
