One of our neighbors has signs up every year for the local elections. Which works well, because if we don't know all of the candidates in the "little" races we can reliably vote for our neighbors' favorites' opponents and end up with someone that will get that particular job done. Failure to act, a 6th year of post season frustration, would be a terrible mistake imho. 24 hrs to deadline, the clock is ticking. Make the trade(s) necessary to bolster the team Beane……..tick-tock, tick-tock……

We are not seeing any progress with Wahlberg. I don’t know what else to say. He’s just not good enough. The Russian kids on the blue line have not outperformed Ryan Johnson, just as an fyi. They are fine where they are. The Sabres need to get older, not younger (age 22 & 21). Neither are regularly on the top pair yet in ROC. If you trust Leone, that should tell you something. It’s also about time the Sabres played the long game with their blue line prospects.

We must have been watching different Ostlunds than our friend in Georgia. Östlund didn’t look out of place in the least in his short stint.
